I can't wait to get 100 more FPS in major add-on airports, in 4k, at all Ultra settings, with the PMDG 737 NGX!!!!

My FPS are fine, locked to 30. I will put sliders to the right.

Same here. All high now. Time for some ultra then

I'm going to try Chicago O'Hare to see if I get decent fps.

Hoping to maintain 60 fps with ultra clouds in most scenarios. After I got my 3080 there's no way I could go back to 30-40 FPS. People are kidding themselves if they think there's no difference.

i see the diff clearly, but i choose to stay at 30 fps, way better for my system, i can run higher settings then.

not everyone has the money for those expensive cards.

ppl are kidding themselves if they think you need 60fps.

There will be no performance increase for my on my current system.  I only have 4 cores and all 4 show about 92% on average.  My GPU shows between 88 and 100%, average is about 96%.  This what I see in task manager.  So, good on you guys that have more current systems, enjoy.

CPU: Core i5-6600K 4 core (3.5GHz) - overclock to 4.3 | RAM: (1066 MHz) 16GB
MOBO: ASUS Z170 Pro |  GeForce GTX 1070 8GB | MONITOR: 2560 X 1440 2K

I am very satisfied with my smooth performing MSFS (just a few freeware addons), compared to when I used to use FSX on a not as capable PC with FPS locked at 23. I don't know my FPS in MSFS, but it's smooth and I don't noticed any stutters. I have everything on "high" with not many clouds.

So if there is a performance for me, I will just increase my cloud setting to "ultra".

Question, with this update who will get more fps increase?

A system with high end CPU but lower GPU, or a pc with a weak CPU but more powerful GPU?

Thread title reminds me of stimulus check (US) posts: "What will you do with your stimmy?"

I plan on not touching any current settings and wait for the complex 3rd party planes. That way I can't miss the extra performance I never had.

I wish I had some realistic AI traffic to use this headroom for...

Use it to download and play MSFS using the A320NX flypad while in cruise.

i have limited the FPS to 30  in general options but the FPS aren't fixed in that 30 and are movig into 20-40, How can i fix it to 30? thanks

Based on the MS/Asobo twitch stream, a PC with weaker CPU and more powerful GPU would seem to show better improvement overall.
