Maybe there is another explanation: you probably escaped the crashdate and are still running the previous, stable, version.

This, or something else, for which I will quote from Orwell's 1984:

"It appeared that there had even been demonstrations to thank Big Brother for raising the chocolate ration to twenty grammes a week. And only yesterday, he reflected, it had been announced that the ration was to be REDUCED to twenty grammes a week."

I am afraid you and others like you are trying desperately to convince us that with this update our ration was raised from 30 to 20 grammes a week.

Regards

A.

In the sim now with high settings. No volumetric lights. I can verify this by looking at the strobes with no reflection. Do you have any screenshots or a video showing this working?

Well I have reflection on the ground 😉

Can you show some screenshots of it working? Everything on ultra for me and it's not visible.

I don't think you'll get that screen shot, just saying. 😉

Geez, it gets worse everyday. New problem arises. I voted btw. I really hope Asobo puts all these features back for PC users. This is just beyond ridiculous that they had to take what was already there just to be able to release this for the X-Box.

Yep, can confirm, volumetric lighting in the clouds is completely gone...

I will say it again, that takes processing power, and the name of the game for X box was to reduce that as much as possible.

Agree with OP and voted. But the Orwell quote is a little over the top.

For goodness sake, the Xbox is more powerful than the majority of peoples PC's.   Stop with this nonsense please.

Sorry but I don't think so it is because of that. Xbox X by itself is a very powerful machine I am 100% sure has nothing of reducing the quality for Xbox thing. This one for sure is a bug.

I do not think that people with low-end PCs used volumetric clouds on Ultra, even I had to set down to High at demanding airports, and my PC is faster one than Xbox.

Ridiculous statement that an X box S is as powerful as many of the PCs owned by people on this forum. Where did you pull that "fact" from?

Perhaps this sheds some light on the situation

Of course, anyone is free to believe it or not, and some will never do so, but I prefer to do so.

Kind regards, Michael

The patch notes should have had a list what features got removed to make the sbox not burst in flames when running this game.

Can’t wait for the next dev QA where the Asobo guys look into the camera telling us „we didn’t do nothing“, „what issues we don’t know any“ like in the past.
