Indeed! Just did some crosswind approaches to KDUH RWY 27 with winds around 310@20+ and the Bonanza was very manageable and predictable. Didn't try slipping it, just crabbed until late in the flair, kicked it to line up and held cross-aileron. Will have to try slips tomorrow night - sounds like fun.

In the Bonanza, I use the NXi, no GTN.. 😉

In previous versions one had to insert any livery information on RY´s original aircraft.cfg.

Are you saying that this is no longer necessary and now liveries can be put in a livery folder inside Addons Linker?

Why not uplaod it to flightsim.to?

Amazin work man!

I placed the livery I wanted into the community folder as normal and it show up within the liverys under G36 Turbo.

So it now works as any addon does.

I use the GTN750 in almost every aircraft (Cirrus, Bonanza, Baron, C208B, C172, DA62, DA40). They're all stock MSFS aircraft and all of them come originally equipped with the G1000. Of course, not in the A320 🤣

I've been away from the G1000NXi as it's (or was?) still on beta. Do you find it stable enough at this stage?.

The G1000 NXi easily surpasses the navigational reliability of the GTN and any other source of navigation in this sim.  I too like the touch interface of the PMS unit (not nearly as good as other units for other sims) but nothing beats the NXi right now.  I'd say it's even more powerful than their own CJ FMS.  If you do download it via the Marketplace, be sure your old "WT G1000" is gone from your community folder.

I can answer this for you Ed.

On the WT pages it says: -

Attention!
This package is exclusively offered via the ingame Marketplace – go there to download the latest version.

When it becomes even more polished and completed, it will become part of the core sim updates instead of the basic G1000, so you won't have to get it from the marketplace any more.

I'm trying to figure out why mine isn't doing that.  Mine doesn't say Turbo after I put a repaint in.

I had forgotten about the wonderful liveries that were included. Thanks for the update.

I took v4 out to KASE for an early morning flight in the mountains.  Wow, the high altitude "turbo" performance is really something when climbing out in the valleys.  We need to tell Robert, his work on the climb performance is worth every penny. Thanks Robert, this continues to be a fantastic addition to MSFS. Very enjoyable flight.

Don't forget to work with the "lean" feature in the NXi MFD. Monitor the TAS over on the PFD speed tape.  Nice to have features like this for realism.  Check Robert's documents for the performance charts.
