April 30, 20224 yr Grounded for me out of the box. My VelocityOne Yoke & Throttle has a 100% axis spinner for the Trim. ALL of my current aircraft get along fine with this Trim wheel, including my four other JF planes (Arrows, Warrior, Hawk). This plane when bound to that trim wheel it’s Trim deflects to -100% which equates to nose down Now! Ive opened a ticket requesting a refund because I’m not changing my profile sets because 1 out of 111 planes I have does not work with its configuration. I knew I should have waited. Bad move on my part. Well at least the Maddog comes out tomorrow! 😀
April 30, 20224 yr Initial thoughts after my first flight...great aircraft overall, well done Just Flight. Looks great, sounds great, flies great and is a nice challenge to figure out both in terms of getting everything started up - there's a lot more buttons that need to be pushed here than on a 737 or A320 - and in terms of flying because it's not nearly as automated as more modern aircraft. Overall a very satisfying first flight and I'm excited to keep learning and building some 146 muscle memory. A few things I noted in my first flight - I couldn't find a way to load the simbrief flight plan directly into the FMS. Perhaps that functionality is not part of this aircraft or I was missing something? I did have my simbrief flight plan loaded in the EFB successfully. - I found that in cruise I had a hard time maintaining cruise speed. Small adjustments to throttle seemed to result in gradual but large speed increases/decreases but I had a really hard time finding the sweet spot to keep speed consistent. I do have this issue in the CRJ too so maybe I'm just ham fisted. - The logitech switch panel does work to control lights etc but when activating any switch on the panel all of the cockpit lights turn on and off. If it wasn't for this the switch panel would work quite well. Al in all I'm very happy with this and look forward to flying it more and to seeing what out talented community of repainters can do with it (I'll just say Air Nova and Air Atlantic 146-200 and cross my fingers 😁) . 46 minutes ago, espent said: Is there a tutorial flight? April 30, 20224 yr I love the fact that it looks like a baby antonov! I already got it. Now i need to learn it. Is there any simbrief profile for it? Juan Ramos

Obviously they rushed it to the oblivion because imminent MD-80 release Just as rushed as your jump to conclusion? @regis9 To be blunt, if you can't find the sweet spot in the CRJ, you might indeed be a bit ham fisted 😅. But yeah, any aircraft without autothrust will need small adjustments throughout the flight. In stable weather you may be able to find a sweet spot that will keep the desired speed, but that is not guaranteed. It is possible your throttle axis device is not quite sensitive enough or is hard to move precisely? You could try tapping the default reduce throttle keyboard bind to maybe finetune a bit more (F2 for example).
April 30, 20224 yr Yeah you know I never had an issue with the Majestic Q400 finding the sweet spot so maybe it's a jet thing. I have a good quality throttle, Virtualfly TQ6 so it's probably just the need to practice and be patient with speed changes. April 30, 20224 yr Bought it...LOVE it already. Am admittedly very biased because I flew on the Air Wisconsin United Express examples as a teenager and loved those and in retrospect feel lucky to have experienced riding on them. So fun, so strange with the engines and wings above, so filled with nauseating kerosene fumes if you’d stop taxiing dor even a moment...ahhh...wonderful....this sim brings it all back at age 46! Wish it could incorporate a GPS so I could “cheat” on Navigation or maybe there’s already a way to follow an in-cockpit line to my destination? Also got a “beep beep beep beep” warning I couldn’t silence on landing or even after landing...must figure out how to silence that or I may not live to enjoy this for long spouse-wise (she HATES any warning annunciation for gear not down etc. - claims I trigger warning alarms on purpose to “make it exciting” 😂) I hope she gets attention of repainters and ALL liveries from Air Wisconsin to Aspen get some love. A good purchase!
April 30, 20224 yr I also got the beep beep beep on landing. I turned off the autopilot on the pedestal, I think we are supposed to use the yoke ap disconnect. Truly outstanding aircraft. Worth every penny. Go out and buy it, you wont be sorry.

Perhaps, and they probably will not issue a refund because that is their stated policy. And I’ll be honest, part of my reaction was I thought it a bit cheeky of them to release a day after saying they were in no way ready. If the bug was minor or cosmetic I would have done exactly as you suggested but it wasn’t. It grounds the plane effectively. Lastly I have been a very loyal customer of JF having at least a dozen of their wares between P3d and MSFS. If they do refund m purchase they won’t miss it at all. -B
