Pierre It is, it's written in the video description (first page, first post here), and Emi is a beta tester so he knows what he's talking about. 51 minutes ago, tfm said: Both look good but do you know what AF004 and AF[cut off] represent in the PMDG version? However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

July 29, 20223 yr In the last year when Rob has talked about the new LNAV module there has never been any mention that the RF legs would not be included. Suddenly they just drop this via a tester. ‘Just a few more months” in PMDG-speak is 2023. So bloody annoying. Edited July 29, 20223 yr by espent // 5800X3D // RTX 3090 // 64GB RAM // HP REVERB G2 //
July 29, 20223 yr Just hurry up and release the -800. This is getting more embarrassing. Running i5-9600K @ 4.8ghz - 32GB DDR4 3200mhz - GTX 3070.

I can’t point to a specific post, but I was certainly aware of it before I saw Emi’s video. Emi said “a couple of months”. It will require a new nav database coded in ARINC 424 format, which is the database coding that real FMS systems use. I assume this will be provided by Navigraph, and probably Aerosoft NavDataPro as well. Up until now, all PMDG aircraft have used a common database format. Going forward, Navigraph will probably offer two PMDG databases: “classic” for the older PMDG products in P3D, and the new ARINC 424 database. Yep, this is the essential part of the equation that PDMG have correctly identified and they’ve said as much. The vast majority of people who buy the 737 will only buy one variant. For them the price is right and I’m one of them. I love my -700. It’s the first complex airliner I’ve used in any sim and I think it’s fantastic. It’s introduced me to SIDS and STARS and serious flight planning and auto landing in daft places.😎 Will I be buying any of the variants? No chance. Will I be buying the 777 and 747 when they’re released? Certainly.

It is, what, $20 less than the 700, but with 700 you get three versions, passenger, cargo and business, whereas the 600 is passenger only I think. As there are virtually no routes I would fly the 600 on I have absolutely no interest in it -- even if thy priced it at $5 I would not get it -- but I do wonder who is interested in this version and why? I think they are targeting entry level simmers that would pay $50 for the -600 as their entry into a study level plane, but not the $70 for the -700 because it’s too much and more or less the same plane. Personally I don’t think the -600 will be a big seller at all. I wouldn’t pay $50 for it, but might be tempted at $25. Same goes for the other variants.
