Only if you buy all that word not allowed. 😉 The only payware addons I use are FSHud (because default ATC really is TOO bad), the Fenix A320 (because it simply is the best) and Navigraph (because er... well, obviously). (The only freeware I use is the JPL C152 and LNM whenever I fly that one.) No tweaking here, only heavenly flying! Edited October 23, 20223 yr by tup61
October 23, 20223 yr I'd rather Asobo just got the weather right (or back to pre-SU7....wishful thinking I know!) than having to rely on yet another 3rd party app to "claim" they have the bestest evah!!!!!1 Pico Neo3 Link VR - Windows 11 64bit, Gigabyte Z590 Aorus Elite Mobo, i7-10700KF CPU, Gigabyte RX 9070 XT OC 16gb (AMD GPU), 32gig Corsair 3600mhz RAM, SSD x2 + M.2 SSD 1tb x1 Saitek X45 HOTAS - Saitek Pro Rudder Pedals - Logitech Flight Yoke - Homemade 3 Button & 8-directional Joystick Box, SNES Controller (used as a Button Box - Additional USB Numpad (used as a Button Box)
October 23, 20223 yr It's not clear to me when the weather is syncing, does it provide a seamless transition like MSFS weather does or is it the same as what REX and others have tried to do with a transient but noticeable sync. Because, I don't care for any weather add-on, that does that. Follow me on : Instagram See my Trailer: A Year Of Flight

October 23, 20223 yr I wouldn’t buy it but I hope those from P3D universe can just give us now some peace moaning about historical weather since this application has this option AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, 64GB DDR5 6000MHZ RAM, RX7900XT, FreeSync 165hz 1440p display

Historic weather is the first item on their roadmap here: https://rexsimulations.com/weatherforce.html (Scroll down to "continued and consistent development".)

Yes, it has been since release, two years ago. Haven't heard any news about it since then.

Add Airfoilabs and XEnviro to the list of XP developers that are now coming out with MSFS products. Don't get too excited. What Xenviro delivered for X-plane 11 is already being delivered for X Plane 12 by default and does not have a role to play atm other than maybe cloud enhancements and current and historical weather data with other third party apps, that's about it. So they were more less filling in the gaps that was available to them at that time. Everything from improve lighting and shading tweaks, season to accumulated snow were things lacking in X-plane 11 but is provided by 12 by defaults. What interesting is that they have so many comparison shots of improvements to MSFS defaults. But at the end of the day is certainly not go to drive people away from X Plane 12 just because Xenviro made their move. It is a surprise move non the less but I doubt anyone is going to really care. October 23, 20223 yr Well, thing is that there are 2 limiting factors in my life. Time and money. Msfs gave me a lot of bang for the buck (euro actually) and a lot of time flying instead of tweaking, buying stuff etc. I've been flying more in msfs in the last 2 years than i have in the competition combined (,except dcs). Msfs had been extremely stable for me in vr without a ctd in more than a year. No matter how much I change, the thing just never crashes. If we start adding weather engines, texture enhancers etc it may become very unstable. I remember in my fsx days I had 20 addons installed and a couple of programs to manage cpu power and heat etc .. I sincerely hope, just like @pmb that those days are over. I'm close to 47 years old, I have two young boys and I just want to fly 1 or 2 hours on Saturdays and Sundays 😃 I have a certain feeling that we are moving away from the topic rather quickly. But hey, that is also part of the hobby... share emotions on avsim with fellow simmers/mancavers.. Have a nice day!

October 23, 20223 yr I’m quite happy with MSFS weather. Does what it needs to, for a few hours of flying a virtual plane. If however I was after a training situation, maybe I’d look beyond it. But I’m not, so 😬
