I just checked and thats actually a pen shop now haha!

I do not have that many occasions for simming a week and if 2-3h of my only simming window in one week is already killed by downloading an update that should be finished in 2min max, I am not obsessed but rather p* about it. Nice for you if you have so much free time to spare that you do not care about a download taking 3h or 3mins... That is 100% on Microsoft. Others Catch22 guys told me that isn't Asobo/Microsoft's fault, but it's the third service server fault. But if you go to the official forum you can read that the slow downloads/disconnection problems are under investigation. Now you can object who have to do this investigation, but I stop here this Catch22 discussion because I'm more interested to see my sim working properly. Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).
December 6, 20232 yr 1 hour ago, Farlis said: It is not. I checked. 😉 It used to be - I kid you not! Their opening page was a picture of a beautiful Pacific island surrounded by turquoise and deep blue see. It was a lovely picture (Asobo would have been pleased with the water masking) except the island was quite plainly photoshopped and it was in the shape of... well... not a pen! I hold out hope that it will one day be included in a future Pacific Island update. I am sure that, between them, Gaya and Orbx could nail it! No pun intended. Anyway, SU14... Still getting the spinning circle after a complete reboot of the PC, and bad tile swapping at Shell Harbour airport in Australia (one of Asobo's own enhanced airports ). I am also getting a bit of 'hitching' or micro-stuttering I never had before, but nothing disastrous. Aside from the micro-stutters, performance is excellent, but is it at the expense of LOD again? The Shell Harbour runway white lines were very fuzzy from about half a mile out, and I am running 4k native. Might be just that one airport maybe, as the simpler Grand Canyon airport seemed alright. Another small thing. Two similar Aircraft (Carenado C-182 and Annov's C-172 Reims Rocket) seem unstable in the roll axis now. They constantly tilt left or right and the bank accelerates quickly if not brought back. If left unattended they go to 90 degrees bank very quickly. Left or right at random, so not weather / wind related. It is like they are balancing on a knife edge when centralised. I already checked my controller and even reset the dead zone from 2% to 5% without any luck. I will check other aircraft to see if I get the same effect. I also had a few disconnected / reconnected messages in the centre of the screen while flying (I thought they were moving this message out of the way), but it may be due to the temporary server load problems. Apparently, all beta testers (like me) were moved over to one server for telemetry reasons (when multiplayer was also suspended for them for a while). I will investigate this, because as you say, some people don't appear to have the problem. A lot of beta testers saw the spinning circle was back and commented on it. Maybe they left us on the test server? Then again, some non-beta testers seem to have it as well after the SU14 update. This is just another day in the random strangeness of MSFS. Not sure if you were connecting the lines to a possible LOD change or if you meant that only with performance but I would not expect LOD settings to effect lines on a runway. If you are seeing this at shallow angles such as on the runway or on approach then I would check and reset your anisotropic filtering settings. A couple of MSFS update had messed these up for me in the past creating this very problem and I have had to turn them off in the driver and back on again and restart the sim a few times. 5800X3D - Strix X570-E - 32GB 3600Mhz DDR4 - AMD RX 9070 XT- Samsung 980 Pro x2

Nice job, i'm not alone in the cockpit anymore! Should have kept my mouth shut because after checking out 5 airports, i don't see any bleeding anymore. Time will tell, but it does seem fixed.
