A few questions about the GSX integration:
1. How do I get the catering truck to appear? All I ever get is the fuel truck and passengers boarding.
2. Do the cargo doors open themselves (I've set passenger doors to open automatically)? In my last flight, boarding started and the cargo loaders were there with ULDs but didn't start loading as the cargo doors were shut. After I manually opened them, they started loading cargo.
3. I still get the GSX screen pop up as its going through various steps...is this right? I assumed as it was integrated it would not pop up until it needed an input from me (pushback direction etc).

1/ I haven't tested
2/ by going through the GSX menu and not by loading FENIX-GSX, I encounter the same problem.
3/ I haven't tested

I confirm with
1/ passenger doors to open automatically
2/ Fenix mass and balance > fast loading request
3/ call up the GSX menu and request boarding

The cargo doors open and then close during loading. They must be opened manually and closed at the end of loading.

When you do everything right you get only two interactions with GSX:

1st: Chose direction after starting pushback (which is initiated by turning beacon light on)

2nd: Confirm good engine start

The only thing you have to do is: Load Airplane via GSX on the EFB.

Thats it.

I noticed on 1st flight Orlando to KATL I was getting FPS of around 28, whereas other aircraft,(GA & liners), usually average about 38. However, flight was still smooth despite FPS drop.

T45

That's to be expected, because every single one of those other aircraft (except the PMDG 737 maybe) is of much lower complexity and probably of much lower visual quality, too.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

I only started using the Fenix for the 1st time the day after release and it was as easy as this for me. It's really not that complicated.

B450 Tomahawk Max / Ryzen 7 5800x3D / RTX 3060ti 8G / Noctua NH-UI21S Max Cooling / 32G Patriot RAM / 1TB NVME / 450G SSD / Thrustmaster TCA & Throttle Quadrant / Xiaomi 32" Wide Curved Monitor 1440p 144hz

Second flight in a row I've had the AP disconnect as I'm turning on to appraoch. Both times I had the speed brakes extended and I had a FCTL warning on the ECAM but it disappeared too quickly. We can't have the AP disconnecting at such a critical part of the flight.

This can be disabled in GSX options

Oddly I’m getting the ECAM message “L/G GEAR NOT UPLOCKED” sitting on the ground at the gate.  This news using the default panel state for turnaround with PCA.  Let’s see what happens when I try to fly.

I'm seeing a pattern here with all these IRL pilot reviews

I agree. My personal benchmark for Airbus is Blackbox711, a former A320 Cpt., now a 787 Cpt. I learned a ton from his videos back in the P3D/FSL days, and his verdict of Block2 is mostly positive. Sidestick input still seems a bit off, but considering the limitations of MSFS as a platform and the gaming input devices we all use Fenix Simulations seem to have done a great job:

Fenix are aware of issues relating to autopilot disconnects and are investigating.

That said, autopilot disconnects can also be caused by fluctuations in the values sent by your joystick if the deadzone is too small.

After takeoff I got a bunch of other ECAM messages about the gear not being up and locked, but once I retracted the landing gear they went away.

This is the second flight in a row (both IAE) with some preflight weirdness, yesterday I had one thrust reverser stuck unlocked.  I had to restart the flight for the issue to go away.  No failures were active.

This ! I had one Auto-Pilot disconnect on day of launch, and had encountered it before, with the fix being increasing the dead zone as above. I have not had one disconnect since, and have flown around 6 hrs after adjusting.

Unfortunately I'm going to have to park this until Fenix can get their displays compatible with Dx12 rtss and AMD's fluid motion frames. Too much of a lottery to get the displays working

You literally say it. You say I’ve had enough of the 737 till they fix the bugs then you go back to the 320 say you have had enough again. Never ending cycle.

Always have something to say about someone else, don't you.
