The piston version is really two versions: Grand Duke. And B60. This video is the second version: no winglets, no installed custom hop ups. Sometimes called the factory version. B60.

I'm not totally sure where this information comes from, but that is not accurate. At the core is, the sim does not support hot swapping avionics. We have advised developers against utilizing hot

  • I'd say FlySimWare Cessna 414 if it can't be the Duke.

Sp I tried long haul in Turbine Duke and able only to squeeze ~800nm. I used FL280 and economy cruise as per tables: torque 740 (800 was recommended by fuel burn was much higher), 1800 rpm. Was getting t fuel flow 51 gph instead of 48 (but there could be ISA deviation)

so I have two question:

I cant get the autopilot to NAV a GPS course of the 530/430.  I click NAV on the autopilot but it remains in HDG mode.  I looked in the manual and there is a rather confusing paragraph about GPS courses and the no-GPS configuration.

Anybody else notice very lazy pitch control following a LOC/GP?  Seems like the autopilot can't command enough control surface deflection to achieve the desired slope.

Unfortunately there is no Simbrief profile for the Turbine Duke... Do you think the B200 King Air is close enough for creating a profile for the Turbine Duke?

Nope, at least it did not end my flight.

Hopefully given the popularity of these two aircraft, some person smarter than me will create some profiles.

I don't even have a turbine profile in ForeFlight Performance Plus.  I am under the impression the King Air version will be inaccurate.  Not too sure, but I find GA fuel planning to be a simple guessing game.

There is an airframe overstress option in MSFS, and the developer said you can't easily work around it, so just turn that option off.  Any crashing options should be off.

I believe the GNS need some work around currently.  Did you answer the install questions regarding SU14 and SU15 beta?

FWIW, I only use the TDS GTN750.  I'd rather use the older non-graphically over the GNS.  They are nice, but I find navigating them to be a bit painful.  Anyhow, I flew into Jeffco last night to test the ILS, as someone on the JustFlight forums reported an issue with it not working.  I have to say, at a 30 degree intercept and level into the FAF, it flew perfectly to minimums.  I don't feel like the AP disco resulted in any problems either.  Maybe a bit of up-trim, but nothing abnormal.

The turbine Duke typically won't go as far as the manual states.  I've seen between 900 to 1100 nm.  Here is a link or two with some real world numbers:

Has anyone experienced issues installing either/both of the Duke to their community folder? I keep getting an error saying that the installer can't find the folder in the community folder - even though it has created the folders their? JustFlightScott have you seen this?
