June 17, 20241 yr I see all of responses to me and all I can say is I wish MS would Omit time compression from the Game/Sim and I have no more to say but waiting for this product to release. That's all folks.
June 17, 20241 yr why would you want a feature removed just to spite others when it doesn't affect you in any way? 😄 anyway, T7 is one week out, maybe two - today's a great day 🙂

Actually doing the flights has become so exhausting, would save me so much time if I could just load up the plane, put in the flight plan and then magically appear at my destination 👌 Ha! I like that kind of humor! I've actually really been enjoying my long hauls in the BBJ1 recently. It's a bit slow cruising, and payload is usually only 3000 kg or so, like 20 pax and a few extra bags. The 777-300ER is still very current for rw flights, and can more or less keep up with the 787's and A350's out there. I've never been interested in time compression. I am however a sucker for pause at TOD, and am still hoping for a pause function in MSFS..... I know, I know, there's the developer mode pause. Just a really easy P keep it simple stupid pause that would work, would be great for 777 long hauls.

June 17, 20241 yr Mr dodgy eyesight here. I won't be buying it until /if they or a modder can add the classic right mouse click behaviour I've used for 10 years on approx 10 pmdg birds. I can't stand or use the tiny arrow up and down asobe behaviour, it means several buttons and switches remain unusable for me in several addons I own. EXCEPT the pmdg 737 which behaves beautifully and easily for my eyes and hands to manage. It's a matter of principle now as they obviously CAN do it but have decided to jump in bed with asobe and only use their default method. Almost every modern game these days has built in accessibility features for the less abled from color blind modes to disabling (!) the need for repeat clicks to alternate control schemes. I can no longer support a company who I have joyfully used for a decade when they openly and coldly turn their back on customers who have control issues due to age or disabilities. Abruptly closing that thread on me as it was annoying to them to hear polite dissent was the final straw. Maybe I'll be lucky and a miracle will happen as I like most have been waiting with excitement for this plane a long time. Been reading the fsx fcom and poh to prepare as well. Sucks growing old especially when someone fully able bodied comes along and tells you to ADAPT then dismisses you. I hope you all enjoy this plane, looks to be a milestone in flight simulation, I've still got my beloved 737 to enjoy and if I can get it stable again all the classic pmdg birds in fsx. Dear PMDG "tomorrow belongs to you" 😉 Russell Gough SE London

I love the feel of getting an overloaded T7 up into the air but do not fancy watching it fly during 10h. So then time compression is my friend..... June 17, 20241 yr Day 1 purchase for me, loved the 777 in P3D so can't wait to have it finally in MSFS. I only hope that all the performance optimisations they've made in the 737 translate into the 777 as well. The performance of the 737 is brilliant and a key reason I love the plane. I do a lot of B737 BBJ long haul with my last one 9.5 hours HNL to AKL . We've all been waiting a long time for a big long hauler and now we've got one, some think it's too long. Oh well, no pleasing some. I'm looking to do that Manila -New York (MNL -JFK) which is some 16 hours. Now as in real life, I won't be sitting in the seat for all that time.I'll mostly be sleeping but will do the climb out, TOC and a bit of cruise, then curl up in bed, then wake up in time to do whatever is left of the cruise before TOD. No time compression or TOD pauses or any short cuts for me. My PC, the MSFS 2020 simulator and PMDG's B777-300ER will be asked to perform the whole operation from TO to LDG. This actually tests my system and the MSFS sim and the PMDG product for stability, and if they can all play nicely together to achieve this, then that's a win. Cheers Terry No. No, Mav, this is not a good idea. Sorry Goose, but it's time to buzz the tower! You can't just throw in the air that everyone should enjoy simming the way you do, so much as wish that particular features you don't use be removed. Let people enjoy things how they want, not how you want. It's childish to behave otherwise. Onto the main topic, the shots of these beast are looking really exciting and I'm eager to see how well it reviews as-well as it's new LNAV being put to the test. However with that in mind, Greezer didn't mention some good points about the 737 and I hope PMDG can get that sorted out for their existing customers.

June 17, 20241 yr And here we already go again with misleading headlines: They clearly posted on their forum in bold letters:we anticipate making her available for purchase on 25JUN24, with provisional backup days extending out to 30JUN24 And yet this thread title implies the 25th is the set date. It is not! It is the start of the release date window, but it can be as late as the 30th.
