I wish Asobo would unlink itself from this Gameboy/XBox pile of poo.

The old Achilles heel syndrome strike yet again. I'm glad I reinstalled P3D. At least I only need an electrical connection! Mind you, That'll start looking dodgy any time soon...

Asobo has no control over that. They develop the game for Microsoft. It is MS that dictates that MSFS will be part of the XBox universe. It is also MS that operates and maintains the XB servers - not Asobo.

All of Azure for the Central US is down... MS has bigger things to worry about than Xbox. This is probably their worst outage in recent history, but who knows at this point if the issue is Microsoft's fault.

Well... I guess I'll go over to C-SPAN and listen to DJT  live 🙂

Ps. This was a Central US wide spread outage of all Microsoft services, including all business apps.

They really really really need to fix this annoyance for MSFS2024, beggars belief they didn't design it in a way to save everything locally. Such a ball ache to constantly have to reset Assistance Settings after downtime, happens far too often.

Global issue.....

This shows just how critical the internet is for msfs2020 and even more for msfs2024. If Mr Putin or other maniacs want it, they can destroy our hobby in a blink. This is the new reality.

There are bigger things to worry about than whether or not MSFS works. It's going to be an interesting day!
