MSFS 2024 Presale Live

Featured Replies

I'm still uncomfortable with the production segmentation.

I will buy MSFS2024 at least the Deluxe version (because of the C172 classic) but paying for all these extra content that I have already paid in MSFS2020 as there're no proof that handcrafted airports have been improved is a little bit weird. Is the MSFS2020 KSFO been upgraded to standard of BMWorld or FlightBeam? I have no clue but suspect a no-answer.

Even if it's a "standalone", I have the feeling to pay again the full price without an upgrade path. Let’s assume it’s funding all free content that may come later as for MSFS2020.

  • Divide this by the amount of hours you spent in MSFS2020 as comparison and tell me, if the per-hour price is still "ouch". I bet even a single beer on a Friday evening is massively more "ouch" when co

  • When I got my PPL in 1978, I used to rent a five year old  C 172 that was on lease back, wet for $29 an hour. Those days are long gone.

  • What's the point of preordering? Is the price going to be different on release day?

IIs it only available online at the MS Store?, as all i get is it's requesting a US address to link my account to? I am in the UK so that is a problem.

Please ignore, Now sorted.

How did you sort it? Have the same issue. Thanks

So excited for MSFS 2024 that I'm about to wipe out MSFS 2020 entirely off my machine in preparation for the new one! I currently own the MS Store version of MSFS 2020 but this time around I think I'm going to get the steam version instead. I'm opting for the premium deluxe or aviator edition. Not sure yet. Will you guys be getting the Steam or MS Store version and which edition will you get?

All the aircraft and scenery you've paid for in 2020, including the ones from the other editions, will carry over to 2024. So if you were to buy just the standard edition of 2024, you'll still have your Cessna Classic.

I had to go through the Microsoft UK site,So i think it likely you will need to go to Microsoft in your country, and it should be on there somewhere under gaming.

A warning though, if you own anything on the marketplace on the MS Store those purchases won't carry over to the Steam version marketplace.

We saw a completely new JFK in the second trailer, it's being made by Gaya. Though it appears the layout is out of date, as it's missing the Terminal 4 extension.

Blu Games flew out of Lake Tahoe airport from World Update X in one of his MSFS2024 videos. It has some minor touch ups such as new ground textures, new vehicle models and possibly rearranged parking spots, but nothing major.

I'll be getting the premium deluxe version. Mainly because I don't want to loose access to the Citation Longitude which is probably favourite aircraft in FS2020. But I also like the look of that PC-24. Has any details on the depth of the simulation been revealed yet? If it's on the same level as the Longitude, I'd be more than happy.

You wouldn't lose it if you bought just the standard or deluxe. All of your own aircraft from 2020 carry over to 2024.

Microsoft keep claiming all the aircraft are at a higher level than the default 2020 aircraft were.

Verdict is still out for me.. With as bandwidth intensive as this sim will likely be, I'm anxious to see how Microsoft handles the demand.  There are many current reports of ongoing bandwidth issues with the current sim.  Guess we'll see.

Where did you read this? This may cajole me to go for the standard version. I'm a payware flyer anyway.

Jorg said it in a Q&A awhile back. I don't remember which one.

What? You’re sure of that? So, any MSFS2020 Premium has no need of the MSFS2024 Premium except for the new aircraft. Which also mean that all aircraft existing in MSFS2020 has not been updated to MSFS2024.

It requires to get clarify officialy.

I just purchased the Premium deluxe version of 2024 at the Xbox store. Didn't want to deal with Aerosoft or Steam.

Steam is way easier to deal with than the MS Store.
