  • Divide this by the amount of hours you spent in MSFS2020 as comparison and tell me, if the per-hour price is still "ouch". I bet even a single beer on a Friday evening is massively more "ouch" when co

  • When I got my PPL in 1978, I used to rent a five year old  C 172 that was on lease back, wet for $29 an hour. Those days are long gone.

  • What's the point of preordering? Is the price going to be different on release day?

It only says "system requirement". There is only for PC and for Xbox. You can see it if you click "preorder" of collectors version

Saw this in the other 2024 thread.  Based on this and the understanding that the aviator edition gives you all of the local legends etc from 2020 I’ll be likely going with Premium Deluxe.  I want the C-17 and Saab 340 but I’ve already bought all of the local legends that I want for 2020 and they should carry over.

Hopefully they will clarify if the Premium Deluxe business jets will get cabins this time around before we pay out

The flight bag with SAR patch(es) looks oddly not like mine.... :)

Got the aviator edition as these guys deserve my money and I'm happy to pay it back. LFG!!!! I'm stoked, the sim looks amazing. I wish all the old schoolers that are no longer with us could see the progress. Incredible.

Who'd a' thought 50 years ago we' be sitting here drinking chateau du chasseur and playing MSFS2024 with 100 fps?

Aye.

Them's days you'd be glad to have the prize of a cup o'tea.

Aye. A cuppa' cold tea.

Not milk or sugar!

Or tea... in a cracked cup and all.

We never had a cup. We used to drink out of a rolled up newspaper.

Best we could manage was to suck on a piece o'damp cloth.

But you know we were happy those days, but we were poor.

Looks great, but for me personally i'll be sticking with MSFS for at least another year or so, the jump from ms flightsim (and dovetails FSW, i still have that in my steam library) was HUGE!

This step, IMO and happy to debate about it, isn't that huge. MSFS is incredible and i still don't feel like I've explored it as much as i want to yet, so much still to do. Yes yes we all like the next new thing, but loads left in MSFS still.

I hate the idea that I'd get the new one and never play the other one to be honest.

I believe the Standard edition will be available to Game Pass subscribers at launch ?  I imagine there'll be upgrade paths from the Standard edition for Game Pass users, so I'll be waiting for that.
