Oh where, oh where are the handcrafted airports...what is included in each package? Grand Canyon, Telluride, Aspen, Innsbrook, and KJFK (New York) are the only ones shown.

Is Innsbruck that Gaya one that was previewed quite some time ago?

This post had this to say about the airports: "There are no new hand-crafted airports in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, and the explanation is pretty simple: Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 already had a massive quantity of them thanks to the free world and city updates."

I am reading that as the airport list for bespoke is the same as 2020, but the airports themselves received an update.

https://simulationdaily.com/previews/microsoft-flight-simulator-2024-preview/

I'm okay with that and I accept that logic, but only if these improvements they've shown to the handcrafted airports are applied in a complete way to KDFW and KATL, both horrific aiports that have never gotten decent renditions.

Good times! I rented a Piper Archer for about 50 AUD back in the day. Did a Sydney harbour sightseeing flight - all my passengers were severely airsick due to the combination of turbulence and heat 🙂

True - sounds cheap but as a proportion of your take home wage at the time, it was still a lot.

Doing my PPL now. It's $195/hour + CFI ($70/hour) for a wet 172

Did anyone get the CL-415 for 2020 from their preorder?

I'd love to see some pics in the avsim screenshot forum or here

One thing I'm not too happy about is that there's no exchange rate being applied for us in the UK. If the exchange rate is applied The Aviator edition would only be about £150!

According to this article the handcrafted airports are the same as 2020, but upgraded. https://simulationdaily.com/previews/microsoft-flight-simulator-2024-preview/
