So all controller assignments will have to be redone and can't be carried over from MS2020. Disappointing but not completely surprising.

Did Jorg mention at what cost individually? This could sway my purchasing choice massively, no point buying Premium Deluxe, just get standard and a couple of the planes I require....but not if buying them separately costs more than it would to buy PD outright....

Looks like the CL-415 alone will be $20 so probably not a good idea to get them separately.

Seems like a no brainer to buy the standard version and then the three or four (literally) aircraft from the other editions you want.

If they're $/£20 each as suggested above then no, you'll end up paying £150 for Standard + 4 extra Planes, Premium Deluxe is £130. So it makes sense (to me) in that respect to just buy PD and get all of them plus others & extra airports etc, no brainer 😁

The few nighttime scenes and screenshots I‘ve seen look very promising. I‘m glad they’ve improved this. Unfortunately they didn‘t talk about the infamous sepia masks. Does anybody know if they’re still there? I really hope they‘re a thing of the past.

True. And if they are all in the cloud anyway there will be no need to uninstall anything you don't want this time.

The built-in ATC has been problematic for the last 40 years, in all flightsims. Third party products are far from perfect either. Only recently we are seeing some progress in that regard and these products are stil work-in-progress and far from finished.

Their best option might be to incorporate one of the existing products instead of developing their own. Perhaps if they were to combine BeyondATC and SayIntentionsAI and allowed for a year of further development we could have a solution that near perfection.

I'm pretty sure 'future pilots' will have a very good education provided by their flight instructors, not Microsoft.

...with the exception of Flight Unlimited 2 and 3. In their day, the ATC was perfect.
