October 31, 20241 yr I have the impression that I have worst performance in exterior view than interior

KJFK with Live Traffic and tons of parked AI @ 4K/Ultra (and also VR). confirmed, same at EDDM with live traffic (many A380s!) and live weather, my mondest rig is struggling at default settings where both Fenix and A320 are smooth as silk. but they mentioned it. all fine, will just try without live traffic next and then take it from there EDIT MiniFCU seems to work the the A320 profile, at least I can dial the numbers. Thrustmaster throttle needed some quick editing, made a copy of my A320 profile and then added throttles 3 and 4 Edited October 31, 20241 yr by DAD Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

October 31, 20241 yr To say I’m impressed would be an understatement. From the quick few circuits I’ve done she feels like a very good payware add on. Fantastic job from the team, only issue I have is on final approach she feels very twitchy, it’s hard to maintain the correct pitch and feels very very sensitive compared to the other busses. Could be something on my side.
October 31, 20241 yr Thanks for releasing soon MSFS2024. If not we have to wait another couple of years. Same for 737Max, A330-340 etc. Oh... They said documentation will be released along with the main package. Where is it? I hope to see pdf files Edited October 31, 20241 yr by Vitold69

October 31, 20241 yr I did not listen to their warnings and instead went with the 8K (and 8k textures on flightsim.to) and loaded in at iniBuilds JFK, 40% fsltl traffic, scattered clouds, and SamScene NYC 😉 My 12700K and 4080 were dying LOL The amount of eye candy is incredible. I LOVE IT! Once I left JFK area I was getting a decent 25-30 fps (not frame gen) at 1440P near NYC | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
October 31, 20241 yr Maybe, if the cabin is eliminated, it would be a significant performance boost. It was easy to do that in FSX. Glad I just upgraded to 64GB... Just to clarify there has been little to no optimizations done, this includes extensive LODs 1 hour ago, mspencer said: I've heard from everyone that there's a list in the FBW documentation of exactly what is missing from this build, but I can't find a link to it, and I can't find it in the documentation. Has anyone stumbled upon it? https://github.com/flybywiresim/aircraft/blob/master/fbw-a380x/README.md Here you go.

Could be something on my side. We suggest the same sensitivity settings as the A32NX, https://docs.flybywiresim.com/aircraft/a32nx/feature-guides/autopilot-fbw/?h=sensi#recommended-sensitivity-settings Also its worth bearing in mind because of the fly-by-wire, despite her size she still has a similar roll and elevator authority as the a320. 45 minutes ago, Vitold69 said: Thanks for releasing soon MSFS2024. I hope to see pdf files https://docs.flybywiresim.com/pilots-corner/a380x/a380x-beginner-guide/overview/ Written in tandem with a real A380 pilot so it's pretty comprehensive. 21 minutes ago, History said: Maybe, if the cabin is eliminated, it would be a significant performance boost.
