told to buy priority boarding

Msfs 2024 Flyers with priority boarding avoid long servers lines, get guaranteed access to overhead bins, have more time to settle in their seat, and, if there’s no specific server assigned, have the right to choose the one they prefer.

Arrived finally from work, to install the sim. Login queue🤦‍♂️

Looks like it's not preventing me from firing 2020 or P3D up while I wait, fortunately.

UPDATE: Server issue detected, error code 002-400 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Lossless Scaling for all my sims. What a godsend...

So not only is 2024 a disaster it’s ruined it for the rest of us playing 2020. My sim has stopped streaming in content.

I just did KEWR-KMIA in the 777 with ASFS, FSHUD, AIG and everything worked fine in 2020 with online services and PG.

Have a Wonderful Day

So it seems to be stuck at 97% and I read on another forum in that case a reboot is in order...
Well, now I am in a waiting queue which sometimes is alternated by an error message that there is a problem with one or more essential services, and an error code 002-400.

I hope these are just first day issues. If they don't have the capacity to to allow us to fly whenever we want I suggest we all get our money back and let them try next year. MSFS2025 also sounds nice I think.

Flightsim rig:
CPU: AMD 5900x  | Mobo: MSI X570 MEG Unify | RAM: 32GB G.Skill Trident Z Neo | GPU: Gigabyte RTX 3090 | Storage: M.2 (2 & 4 TB) | PSU: Corsair RM850x | Case: Fractal Define 7 XL
Display: Acer Predator x34 3440x1440 | Speakers: Logitech Z906
Controllers: Fulcrum One Yoke | MFG Crosswind v2 pedals | Honeycomb Bravo Quadrant |Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant | Stream Deck XL & Plus | TrackIR 5 Tobii eye tracking

I was reading the dev forums last night and it was obvious things were not going well but what can you do?

A couple issues that I remember without mentioning dev names :

"our aircraft is compiling and loading into 2024 build but is not selectable on hanger or dev mode but can be injected as ai"

(translation : our plane is invisible)

"sounds once triggered in vc view will disappear if you go to external view and back - no we are not using nodes it is too late for us to redesign our planes the day before release"

(translation :DO NOT Switch to external view if you want all your vc sounds to keep working)

I would go with MSFS 15. That way there's no pressure to release it before it is ready.

I was flying by Dallas Love field and Dallas was melted. Internet is fine though.

I fear this is the beginning of the end for the MSFS franchise

Cloud Based AI game with no install. This is a nightmare, we are given our fates to cloud and servers from 2024 and on.

We need a base installation!! And with that I mean those potentially 100's of Gigs of data.

It's dozens of Terabytes of scenery data, not doable.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Yea, now I can't get back in...too many users it says.. Then it shows an Server error.  Bummer....Oh well, time to play Farming Simulator 25!...lol😁

I don't. Our first impression may suck but I have good hopes all will be fixed eventually. Unfortunately I don't have any first impressions yet except for the loading screen and now the waiting queue. The GOOD news is: the waiting screen hasn't CTD'd yet and I get over 760fps in it so stability and performance sofar is very good.
