Yes you get the live weather from the *hour* of the in-sim time. So there's the 24 hours of weather and you'll just get the hour of it. So if you now set 20th January 2025 2200 UTC, you'll get yesterday 2200 UTC for the weather (because that's the most recent 2200 UTC).

Do I have to understand why you not simply fly a real world schedule that is in the past and set the sim time to that time instead? Like I do with the freight ops now because I have absolutely no intention of staying up all night to fly a 3'o Clock flight from Leipzig to Paris. So I just do it the next day with the sim set to the time and weather it was when the real flight took place.

Why would anyone want to sim a flight that has not even taken place yet, if there is no weather data for this.

I just created a “wishlist” topic on the official forums to make the use of historical weather optional, not mandatory. That would solve the problem if they make that change.

E.g. there's vatsim event and the airports I want to fly between only have a flight that departs at 2100 UTC. I couldn't use yesterday's flight because I need live weather for Vatsim.

it’s funny because in 2020, this was one of the most upvoted items. And now that they responded, everyone wants the old way back!

Hi, everyone,

Since 1.2.7.0 patch, I can't keep my graphics settings anymore.

Every time I start the sim the graphic settings changes to minimum!

Anyone with the same issue?

ive said for 15 years when captainsim and airsimmer started pay to beta back in the late 2000's, and then were followed by blackbox amd then nearly every other dev with names such as "prologue" or "advanced" etc etc, it just started the catalyst for the standard of addons to drop. 

This community wanted "pay to beta", they paid for it with their hard earned cash, they embraced it and then shot down anyone on forums that were against it, like this one.

The devs have given the community want they wanted. You reap what you sow, we have noone to blame but ourselves.  The devs are just playing the market.

What is game breaking in VR. I have used VR extensively and can't find anything that is "game breaking".

There are some issues for sure but nothing rises to the level of what I would call Game Breaking!
