May 17, 20251 yr //Admin edit: post-release discussion begins at page 7 My first thoughts were 1. This certainly shuts up the 2020 is abandoned crowd led by one very vocal individual and 2. Do I really want an SU16? 😞 https://fselite.net/content/microsoft-flight-simulator-news-su16-coming-soon-for-2020-2024-su3-beta-planned-for-tomorrow-live-dev-qa-this-month/ I haven't seen the changelog yet but so pleased with 2020 right now that I feel like there is a greater risk of something going wrong than reward of something being massively improved... Time will tell but fingers crossed for some nice improvements and feel free to link to this thread every time you know who starts a thread about the atrocities and crimes of abandonment committed against 2020 simmers by Asobo and MS LOL... I wish they would leave 2020 alone. It works fine now.

May 17, 20251 yr Maybe they will finally tackle the important aspects of a sim. Such as AI (Airliners & GA) and a robust ATC system. 😀 I have a feeling that they won't! As stated, they'll break something important while fixing something that we don't need. SU16 better fix the exit issue. (pray) MSFS

May 17, 20251 yr Yeah I've gone back to 2020 because it's the stuff they don't touch that works well. I have a feeling they're going to force us to their cloud only game-as-a-service stutterfest before long. Or at least I think that's what the bean counters dream about.

May 18, 20251 yr I have to confess I'm truly worried about this SU16 for FS2020. No confidence in what these guys (MS mainly) are doing to make everyone move to FS2024 sooner than later. So you are saying that MS is going to make Asbo *intentionally* regress or nerf 2020, with the master plan of delivering said breakage via SU16, all in order to get users to move to 2024 sooner than later?
