June 2, 20251 yr I know yet another positive thread about 2024 yet I have 1 or 2. First is AMD FSR3 for my 3060ti and second is the more natural ATC phraseology. Nice job. dd
June 2, 20251 yr Loading times are much improved for me under SU2. The spinning wheel only spins for at most about 10 seconds now before it zooms into the aircraft, regardless of where I choose to spawn in. Textures also seem a little sharper/faster to focus, but that could just be placebo. I'd like them to fix the high VRAM usage and stuttery FPS at big airports though. That's something that hasn't really improved much. June 3, 20251 yr I am just happy that they did not break anything, and that model matching and custom registration is working better than before 🙂 Also performance is good enough now, for me to switch my locked fps from 30 to 60 (half monitor refresh to 100%). Happy camper.. Bert

June 3, 20251 yr Camera custom views work when flying more than one airframe per session. No more sound-not-working issues (for me, so far).
June 3, 20251 yr Mentioned above already, and, btw, I am now in SU3, but the positive aspects from SU2 are here too, including AMD FSR3 that just as the OP I use with my RTX 3060 Ti, although for AA I opt for TAA. The ATC is far from perfect but already very acceptable, at least for IFR, and most of the time I use default ATC and AI Traffic instead of BATC or FSHUD. Smoothness is great too ! June 3, 20251 yr For those of you with RTX 3000 series cards, using AMD FSR3, do you also use it for the Antialiasing? I am using TAA for AA and only enabled FSR3 FG, but FSR3 upscaling is also available for AA. June 3, 20251 yr It fixed some really annoying bugs (planes hovering above the air in parking) and some of the ATC and traffic issues (still a long way to go, but a lot of the really insane stuff is fixed). Overall, I didn't really notice much change other than the bug fixes. Really, SU2 was "zero drama" for me which is a good thing in my book. I update, then go about my normal flying. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF
