Or do they keep more engaged when there is a process of gradual improvement with hiccups to moan about along the way. Edited September 10, 2025Sep 10 by jarmstro

A follow up to this, Attempted to do a flight, for context I use GSX refueling and loading synched with the maddog. Doing a simbrief import on the W&B page inthe EFB causes a reproducible WASM crash, always. So for that, IMO the maddog is currently unflyable in SU4 Beta. I don't believe having GSX sync enabled has any effect on this, I could be wrong I didn't test, but this WASM crash happens even without turning on any services in GSX. A shame but expected.

Looking at the MSFS forum, disabling tracking controllers in the VD Streaming setting resolved this (which worked for me). Though I don't know if you use VD or not. I am content waiting If many WASM aircraft have been broken in this first beta build of SU4 it might well be a bug on Asobo's side to fix in consequent beta builds before general release (rather than a change that aircraft devs are required to react to). I assume as soon as an SU beta opens up, the 3rd party devs will definitely onboard and assess the situation, keep an eye on things, have direct back & forth with Asobo via established channels, etc. Although it makes complete sense for 3rd party devs to not release any aircraft fixes *during* an MSFS SU beta (though there have been exceptions), I'd think those devs are at least establishing if something is for Asobo to fix/change vs the aircraft dev. September 10, 2025Sep 10 Trying to load the Turbine Duke in SU4 resulted in a CTD; then in the FSR500 my Octavi IFR1 FMS buttons didn't control the G1000 rotaries anymore (the ones for switching menus). Only to work again in a subsequent flight, having relaunched MSFS. 5800X3D, 64GB 3200 RAM, 7900 XT 20GB
September 10, 2025Sep 10 Complete game changer! After having nothing but trouble with SU3, this is almost too good to be true. Just completed a flight KHPL-CYHZ in the Fenix A319. The whole flight was just insanely smooth, not a single stutter and I gained a good 10-20 FPS (pre FG) with the same settings. I couldn't see any trade offs like lower graphics quality and my TLOD stayed super sharp throughout. The only 2 issues I came across were external lights on the Fenix not switching off properly and GSX jetways not working. All in all a keeper as I'm not looking back to SU3 - hopefully those tiny bugs will get sorted soon and we get compatibility with the likes of PMDG, ini A350 etc.

September 10, 2025Sep 10 At this point the beta will be a down the road thing for me until maddog, duke, pmdg etc are all working normally. Which I'm ok with.
