Give us a complete reworking of the weather in all it's aspects everywhere.... I agree - bring XP12 weather into MSFS and it will be fantastic. I will say MSFS weather is not bad, as it can portray some wonderful effects, but XP12 latest weather update takes the skies to another level. So I agree with you - take MSFS weather to the next level, it needs it. January 15Jan 15 Bring back the nice n simple Fly-By and Tower views--everyone would love this simple feature of old, except for those who prefer a complete replacement of the default camera system that ChasePlane provides. I own CP from 2020 but haven't installed it in 2024 because quite frankly I really like the default system which is clean and quick to setup for all planes, the drone works well, and the only meaningful thing for me that is missing is indeed the FB & T views. Having played w/ the toolbar camera configuration to make a mock fly-by in 2024 it seems like it would be a total piece of cake to develop within the default system and again it's something a lot would find fun and MS/A will get some kudos if they do it properly. In most of my flights my 5090 GPU is frequently at 80-90% and the CPU 40-50% … but I set a cap at 40 FPS to prevent late or delayed loading of higher quality textures (aka “the blurries”) which makes for globally consistent and sharp scenery detail. My CPU (AMD 9950X3D) and RAM (96GB) has plenty of headroom for Pro 6000 GPU. And there were a couple of instances where I managed to hit more than 32GB VRAM. The Pro 6000 would definitely be useful in situations where I drop below 40 FPS or am push 32GB VRAM usage, but value … well that’s another story. I don’t use DLSS/FG and my resolution is only 3440 x 1440p. I will not move to 3840 x 2160 until next generation of GPUs in 2027. Depends where you’re at with add-ons and settings … for my setup it would be about 4-7 FPS increase and my VRR is 40Hz as is my FPS cap (no DLSS or FG and modest resolution 3440 x 1440) … there are occasions where I drop into the 35 FPS range so that extra FPS would help keep me in my VRR min.
