January 15Jan 15 Now that SU4 has been released (great job Asobo) what’s on your wishlist for the next Sim Update? I would like to see them focus on bugs, especially with existing aircraft and career mode. They have put a ton of time into these areas, but we need another big push to get over the finish line in these two areas. Additionally, more focus on improving weather, ATC, traffic and performance. I am fine if they don’t release any significant new features, and just focus on fixing and improving what we already have. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro
January 15Jan 15 Fix the issue with artifacts when flying at night with AMD GPU's. It's not a deal breaker but it is distracting.
January 15Jan 15 Personally I feel like SU4 throughout the betas slowly regressed in performance. When it first came out the performance was fantastic and I never got VRAM warning messages. Since the release of SU4 to the public, I don't feel the performance is nearly as good as the initial SU4B and every now and then I get VRAM warning messages. Personally my flying experience is pretty great in SU4 so I don't have a lot of desires (I'm sure there is a number of things that we need but nothing comes to mind right now) so for SU5 I'd like better VRAM management and perhaps even better perf, similar to SU4b
January 15Jan 15 After 5 years of pleading it's time to finally either implement a finer resolution of the snow coverage or introduce a toggle to switch it off with live weather.
January 15Jan 15 Simple - go back to SU3. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
January 15Jan 15 The ability to spot flying AI aircraft as in previous versions. Jetways that work on injected AI aircraft. AI lighting as in previous versions. Forgive me for discussing AI. At least I didn't mention PMDG... Opening a whine bar in MSFS2024.

It is very distracting. -Henrik Ryzen 7 7800X3D - RTX 5090 - 64gb DDR5 - Moza AB9 with MH16 Flightstick, MTQ Throttle, Thrustmaster Pendular rudder.
January 15Jan 15 To fix this strange objects reloading inside virtual cockpit and that reloading of complex airports scenery that kills frames for just 1 or 2 seconds, very annoying and reported by many users. Edited January 15Jan 15 by alexcolka Alexander Colka
January 15Jan 15 - Better night lightning - SU4 took a step backwards in some areas, imo - WX overhaul, like real weather effects on aircraft and a WX radar that actually does something, snow coverage, icing, turbulence... etc. Different cloud types would be awesome too. - LOD improvements Enrique Vaamonde

Its getting to be a deal breaker for me in a sense. I fly mostly at night and the jaggies initially were tolerable but now its starting to get on my nerves. If they Asobo/AMD dont manage to get to the bottom of this i may have to move to an Nvidia product. Its just a shame it will probably be a sideways move ( I was holding out for a 5080 with increased Vram at a reasonable price.) Doesn't look like that's happening this year. January 15Jan 15 ATC and AI aircraft behaviour would be a pretty good start. Any further optimisations would be very welcome. Maybe there are some needed to make DLSS 4.5 better. Ryzen 5800X3D, Nvidia RTX5080 - 32 Gig DDR4 RAM, 1TB & 2 TB NVME drives - Windows 11 64 bit MSFS 2024 Premium Deluxe Edition Resolution 2560 x 1440 (32 inch curved monitor)
January 15Jan 15 Better AI Engine (ai behavior). Non-disappearing landing gears (and other small objects) - in other words: a less aggressive LOD managment. - Harry 9800x3D (Strix x870e-E) - 64GB RAM (DDR5 6000, CL 30) - RTX 5090, 34'' 1440p OLED HDR - Windows 11 Pro (1TB M.2) - MSFS 2024 (MS Store, 4TB M.2).

Unfortunately AMD RDNA 5 is not expected until next year. Sadly, nVidia with 32GB VRAM seems to be better option for MSFS 2024 on performance/visual front (not value/price). I’ll probably end up buying nVidia Pro 6000 96GB VRAM next year when the prices drop due to release of next generation GPUs (prices are falling on the Pro 6000 but still a ridiculous $8000). I’m really rooting for AMD as the lesser of two evils. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan
