iniBuilds A380 ...

Hopefully the iniBuilds version can fly an RNP approach in autopilot, as well as being the higher gross weight version to allow the full gamut of long range A380 routes, which FBW can't do.

Given their A350 has full FLS/GLS/SLS approach abilities I'd be shocked if the A380 didn't.

  • Looks very impressive! Glad that iniBuilds continue to embrace MSFS's CFD tech in their flight models, having started early since the 2020 days. If there ever was a need for 2024's detailed aircraft g

I wonder how it will compare to FBW's FREEWARE A380? And yes, I did intentionally caps the word FREEWARE, as the Inibuilds will have to improve a lot of things to compare to Fbw.

Well based off their A350 and 340, it will have more features than the current version of the FBW 380.

Did I read somewhere they're doing an A350 v2?

Any news on that thing? I never did end up getting the A350.

I will buy this day one - IF they have proper display pop-outs with touch screen support.

I hope they release the A380 with individual pop outs panels also instead of the pop out mess in the A340.

Why do a V2, why not just continue updating the present one?

I don't always stop and look at airplanes.........Oh wait, Yes I do.

I repeat myself, but I really, really hope for a jump ahead feature. Or FSiPanel finally providing the option for more than just a handful PMDG aircraft. I simply cannot extend my sim session to more than 3h yet I would like to do some long hauls. Impossible without proper time acceleration, jump ahead or 3rd party tool achieving this.

It looks phenomenal - my only reservation is (as an owner of the A350) the stability. The A380 is one of the definitive long-haulers. Can it survive 16+ hours without a WASM crash? Fingers crossed.

Forgive my ignorance because I don’t have MSFS but wouldn’t AutoSave in FSUIPC resolve that problem? It’s got me out of jail a few times in P3D and FSX in earlier days.

Maybe but it's no fun coming back to the computer for an arrival and finding your plane stopped working half-way over the Atlantic even if you do manage to restore it.

It’s better than starting from scratch. Wait until the sim is more stable is another option. How long has it been out? 18 months? They should have sorted the gremlins by now.

Es mejor que empezar de cero. Otra opción es esperar a que el simulador sea más estable. ¿Cuánto tiempo lleva en el mercado? ¿18 meses? Ya deberían haber solucionado los problemas.

I suspect it's going to be like what happened with 2020,once it became stable, they released 2024.

With all this visual detail + GSX visible passengers enabled - you'll need 6 Nato-class graphic cards held together by rubber bands just to get 20 fps at a 720 resolution.

But the 1 million question, how is the performance and VRAM usage?

I would hope it will perform better than the 8K Version FBW A380🤣
