Tuesday at 08:01 PM4 days You can turn it off in the Settings.Settings / Sound / Volume levels / Music.Set to zero. Edited Tuesday at 08:08 PM4 days by Bert Pieke Bert
Tuesday at 09:51 PM4 days would be super cool if we could load individual tracks into a custom folder and have it randomly pull from that directory. I can recall doing this years ago on sports xbox games. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
Tuesday at 11:21 PM4 days As Bert said, setting the music volume to zero in settings, removed the music. I've never even heard the music because I turned it off the first time I loaded both 2020 and 2024 😀If turning the music level to zero is not turning it off, then that is an issue in itself, and may be caused by the issues that some are having with cloud saves and settings. Wednesday at 07:52 AM3 days I replaced the intro video with a static one from flightsim.to. Also features "no audio™" for the best of both worlds.I wish asobo would stop treating this as one of their regular games but whatever. Gotta love that "ready to fly" button as well. Fortunately all of these still have solutions. Wednesday at 08:48 AM3 days I think this whole intro needs to be changed. The music, the video (why a full-screen video, and always the same one?)... it's really bad. 13600KF - 32GB DDR4 - RTX4070 - UW1440p GSync - USB DAC/Amp - 2TB NVMe+2TB SSD - Windows 11 - Gladiator NXT EVO - 1 Gbps Fiber - MSFS 2024
Wednesday at 09:15 AM3 days That full screen video is the first thing I got rid of.The music will stop if you <windows key> out to desktop while it's loading and then go back and there's no music. Wednesday at 10:37 AM3 days I do not mind the intro music. However, I do have it switched off in the menu......but it still plays around 50% of the times that I load the simulator. When I say that, I mean when the simulator is loading. It never plays when I reach the menu. Thursday at 12:52 AM3 days I actually replaced it in 2020 with the music from FSX. I assume you can do that 2024 as well. But my wife hates it if I leave our office while it's loading and that music is playing over and over.
