  1. Past hour
  2. I think your comment is just the tip of the iceberg! Sadly, 15K subscribers on the channel comment in the same way without substantiated fact in agreement to his negative dialogue of Microsoft and Asobo.
  3. Honestly, even back in the heyday we were going back and forth about the clouds. We just tend not to remember. I spent a good hour this morning looking at various threads decrying and praising the weather. Just like now.
  4. For those of you who fly smaller aircraft and own a Stream Deck Plus, I've made a Profile (a simple one) and put it on Flightsim.to here > https://flightsim.to/file/74140/easy-to-use-stream-deck-plus-profile-for-ga-flying
  5. Thanks! I wondered if anyone would play with the engine out stuff. I only did a little testing with both over the last few months. I'm not ME rated either but I read up in some.things in hopes it would be modeled.
  6. You're welcome.🙂 Right click on the airport in the map and select "Show Procedures". This will show a tree-like structure with filter and all. See here for details: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/latest/en/SEARCHPROCS.html Alex
  7. Thanks for your reply. I removed the departure rwy in LNM and MSFS then 'draws' the first leg from the chosen parking position. I guess that should work ok. I must also look up how to insert a SID although I' can't remember if this particular airport has them.
  8. Flew the turbine version, flies very nicely. Tons of power. Vmc is a snap over as expected nicely done blacksquare and the exterior sounds are great
  9. When you went to the Amazon site did you get the US one? I did and I couldn't enter my phone number correctly. Wonder how you did it... Perhaps I am entering the number wrong...
  10. You will go down that path anyway sooner or later once SU15 is officially released. So that should not stop you now
  11. The A340-500 and -600 are beautiful planes. I would be tempted by those, even if it wasn't study level.
  12. Sorry you are experiencing this. This is the first time I have heard of this happening. If you had set the app to auto-start with MSFS, the only thing that directly changes with MSFS is the EXE.xml file, located in the MSFS root user directory (MS Store Version: "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft. FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\ or Steam Version: "C:\Users\YOUR_USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator"). It adds this specific section and removes it when you select uninstall: <Launch.Addon> <Disabled>False</Disabled> <ManualLoad>False</ManualLoad> <Name>MSFS2020_AutoFPS</Name> <Path>C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\MSFS2020_AutoFPS\bin\MSFS2020_AutoFPS.exe</Path> </Launch.Addon> For troubleshooting purposes, try renaming EXE.xml to EXE.xml.bak and then see if MSFS starts. If it does start, your EXE.xml file may have become corrupted. If so, then message me your EXE.xml(.bak) file contents and I will see if I can work out what has become corrupted. If it still doesn't start then something else other than this app has corrupted your MSFS install and you will need to consider what else changed with your system around this time. In either case, rename EXE.xml.bak back to EXE.xml.
  13. That’s fine, it’s not the case for me. The wow factor is 100% (as much as I can be trusted to know myself on this) from the big decline of the skies. I only use Live, and they’ve lost their variety and visual realism in most ways. If you use mainly presets seeing the same patterns of clouds, you may be less impressed by those same patterns over time. If the honeymoon phase were a factor for the Live skies, we wouldn’t all have experienced it around the same time (SU5/7).
  14. Shhhhhhh! I'm doing that for a WHOLE 2 weeks now !!! and enjoying both 🙂
  15. Is there a special way to get it to recognize my Mic. Cant get past the test.
  16. Hmmm. I'm not certain in that case. If you introduce fuel a little earlier does the same thing happen?
  17. That's strange. Though still a fan of the clouds, even I would admit that they have (even for me) lost some of the original super-wow/Holy-smokes factor, and are now simply (occasionally) wow. I don't see how that can help but be the case after a few years have passed.... There is after all that well known phrase about the honeymoon being over.
  18. It can reduce the glitch you sometimes get when approaching a busy/ dense area and there’s a stutter while the sim seems to be loading stuff in over the internet. But even this advantage isn’t consistent in my experience. Also, if like me you mainly stick to familiar routes, then going elsewhere for a one-off can produce a stuttering mess if you use the rolling cache: in my case, flying around NYC is a stutter-fest unless I turn off rolling cache - I’m assuming because it’s trying to play catch-up after filling itself with the European scenery from my usual routes. I think this may perhaps explain why people have such different experiences of this option. For me, it’s best to keep my off.
  19. Today
  20. I think it's okay during startup. I'd have to recall the limits. I think it has to settle back down within a certain timeframe
  21. Thanks I think I fixed. But I don’t know why, I’m missing cirrus clouds
  22. Yes, I use it in VR. As long as you know what to say. It is very simular to Pilot2ATc if you ever used that. Mike key assigned to a button on my yoke.
  23. What is the point of using it, bad internet connection?
