  1. Past hour
  2. I’ve got the turbine version. The first flight seemed to be normal, but I’m on another flight, level at 11,000 feet and the best I can get for speed is about 160 knots, (this, after an anemic climb out). Props are set to 2000, as per the Cruise checklist. The thrust levers are limited by the redline on the Ng gauge. Anyone know what I’m doing wrong? It’s as if the gear is down or something…
  3. just one quick edit from a fortuitous grab -
  4. For me it's been a great 1/2 weeks. Tomahawk, Batc, then the Duke. Just waiting for PMDG to release the 777 sometime in the near future, then I'll be one happy flightsim pilot.
  5. Oh yeah, I got the same plane, lots of fun 🙂🙂
  6. I have a similar experience. I used to have trouble with severe stutters when using the rolling cache with it set to something like 20 Gb. I ran with it off afterwards for some time. The last several months I've run with it turned on with something like 10 Gb and have not had the stuttering at all.
  7. You can actually move it WITHIN Addon Linker, right click on the folder and move it wherever you want.
  8. Despite the title of this thread says "Work-in-Progress", go download your free v1.2.0 with the new animated custom orange windsocks : https://flightsim.to/file/37328/oceanside-box-maxwell-memorial-airfield-kokb
  9. I have these problems. 1. In the "BEFORE STARTING ENGINES" section (the CARENADO lists); there is an item that says "All Press-to-Test Lights — CHECK." What should be checked there? 2. In the section "STARTING ENGINES." the item "Throttle - ADVANCE to obtain 60 lbs. /hr. fuel flow; then RETARD to IDLE." The fuel flow indicator needle does not move, it stays at zero. 3. In the section "BEFORE TAKE-OFF" the item "b. Propellers -- CHECK feathering to 1200 RPM; return promptly to HIGH RPM (full forward)". The RPM indicator stays at 2800 RPM and does not drop to 1200 RPM, even at idle speed. 4. The autopilot when activated, the nose points downwards losing altitude to such an extent that the plane crashes against the ground and no matter how hard I pull the joystick to raise it, I can't. The solution for now is to keep that setting on the knob, even so it does a minimal nose down but then it resumes altitude. The solution for now is to keep this setting on that knob, it still makes a minimal nose down but then resumes altitude.
  10. Then again, I could always dream about winning the UN General Assembly lottery 🤔
  11. Hi simmers 😉 Some more snaps from the MIG21.. If you want to see the shots in the best resolution then please click on the picture !! cheers 😉
  12. I don't know how I missed this? I expect most Simionic g1000 users have already landed on this site. If not, it is an EXCELLENT set of user's custom profiles for ~40 different aircraft, ranging from simple piston to complex jets. ...again, I might have been the only one who hadn't found it. https://g1000profiledb.com Brian
  13. I had the same issue and just figured it out! There is a pitch trim switch which must be ON
  14. I simply go to the Community Folder, cut the folder that I want to move, and paste it to the folder that I have linked to my Addons Linker. Then activate it with Linker. Never had a problem doing that.
  15. Today
  16. LOL yes their servers have crashed two or three times this morning that I am aware of.
  17. Not sure about FSUIPC, but my bravo mixtures are bound normally to the default mixture settings within MSFS, same as any other plane.
  18. hello, I just saw that the latinVFR A340 was available in fs2020 store 😉 bye
  19. Yup! Found it right after I posted! 🙂 Thanx!
  20. I am having difficulties binding the mixture axis to my Homeycomb Bravo throttles. The manual says "Please make sure that your hardware bindings are using the Key Events (...)", I don't know how to do that in FSUIPC. Any advice?
  21. You can always take them out of the Community folder and put them into Addon Linker. Simples. 😉
  22. I freshly installed auto-fps (test) from the authors link a few pages back. Set it to auto-start with MSFS. The install appeared to go fine. Reboot the PC, tried to launch MSFS. Just a second of the round progress wheel, then nothing. The sim will not launch. Checked in task mgr; it's not running. This must be user error, but don't know what I did wrong. It's a dedicated Win 11 MSFS desktop. I purposely keep it very clean. Help please! ...and thank you. PS: I ran the recommended uninstall by ensuring the app is not resident. Then ran uninstaller. Received a message that the app was successfully removed. Rebooted. Still, MSFS will not launch.
  23. I think that the OP - even if his account is disabled as stated by him - and with regards to the BATC Discord - he was not too far from reality.
  24. Community Folder. I presume the overriding complaint is that there is no option to place the files somewhere else so that power users can use Addon Linker to link the files instead of the "live files"
  25. They install directly in the Community Folder (CF) rather than some other custom folder. I move everything into a custom folder and then use Addons Linker to create links in the Community Folder to enable those addons that I actually want to use. So, the JF installers (with new or update installations) make me have to copy the new folder from the CF to my custom folder, delete it from the CF folder and then I proceed as I normally do.
