Captain Sim releases the -300...and as a stand alone....for $10 cheaper than the -200? 🤔 I'm sure that's gonna trigger the crowd who bought the -200 "Base pack"....or as it was implied as that is how it's been sold before (and I swear I saw the word "base pack" on the original sales page...but if I did, CS conveniently got rid of it because he knew it would raise more havoc.) Of course this is MSFS and the "aircraft" are just the shell of the "aircraft", but I bet those who "thought" they needed the -200 as a pathway to get the -300, and really wanted only the -300 and were hoping you pay $30 for the "base pack" and maybe $10 for the -300 "expansion" would be the way to go. Sad we only now know that if someone only wanted the -300 all along....and they picked up the -200 in anticipation of needed it to get to the -300, and gave CS some extra support along the way, are now thinking he sure could have announced that on the initial -200 release that the -300 was going to be a stand-alone...and $10 cheaper at that! But hey...if he did that...think of all the $30 cha-chings' he'd miss out on for those who only wanted the -300? Now all the -200 owners who impulse - bought it when they really only wanted the -300 are gonna pay $50 for it vs $20 for the folks who waited....pretty slick CS....I applaud the never-ending ways you find to suck more money from the community. Bravo. At lease all the folks just wanting the 777F now know that they can just wait for it and not plop $30 for the -200 they'll never fly. Unless of course they also did the -200 impulse-buy that CS uses so craftily for additional revenue streams. Hehe....wonder how he'll market the 737, 757 and 767 shells you know he's prepping as soon as the 777F hits the market. I'm hoping its diminishing returns if we can just keep informing people of his scam before the mods lock topic after topic on this predatory behavior that hurts the community.

Hello! Recently bought the Captain Sim 737, quite happy with it, but I don't seem to use the ACE properly. As suggested, this is how I use it: 1) Fire up Prepar3D. 2) Open the ACE, change the pax and cargo load, press the save button and close the ACE. 3) Select the 737. 4) Load a flight. But when I check the fuel and payload menu in Prepar3D the load is still the default one🤔 What am I doing wrong? Kind regards, Viggo.

I have the Justflight 737-200 Professional, but am suffering from a lack of repaints, I would like to know what people think about the Captain Sim and Milviz versions. Which is more realistic to fly etc, etc. Looking forward to hearing what people think. Cheers, N

So, before I get flamed for even mentioning the CS777, let it be known that I own every PMDG airframe made for FSX, and totally love them all, as well as the Lenardo Maddog. I am currently pretty happy with the FBW A32NX in MSFS, and will soon grab the PMDG 738. While I am waiting for the release of the PMDG 777 for MSFS, I wandered over to the CaptainSim website https://captainsim.net/products/m777/m772/ just for a look-see, and, looking at the pricing at the bottom of the 777-200ER description page, it says $19.99!!! Now I know that the plane is just an exterior model with very limited systems, but I figured it was worth that low sum. EXCEPT, when I hit the purchase button, low and behold, it's $29.99 in the cart. NOT worth that. Oh well....guess I'll spend that twenty on the VerticalSim KTPA instead.

Hi there! It was my birthday today, and I've come into a bit of money. I have the opportunity to purchase a new FSX addon. My choices are: CaptainSim 767, QualityWings 757, or the Wilco Airbus Evolution Volume 2. What would you buy? Which will be better for my money? I'm looking more towards the QualityWings 757 at the moment because I've heard it's better than the CaptainSim 757, but that's a possibility also. Please give me some insight on what you would choose. Thanks a lot!! Paul

Hi all So, I recently bought the CS 757 after contemplating it for a while. I decided to do a short flight from KJFK to KMIA. I started cold and dark. The framerate was about 30-40 (I was using bandicam). As I started programming the FMC and was starting up the plane (didn't actually start the engines yet), I noticed that my framerate was dipping into the low-teens (about 10-13). I saved the flight and loaded it up again. My framerate was still in the low teens. I restarted FSX, lowered my settings to nearly the bare minimum (kept global texture res on high though), created the same flight and the same thing happened! I decided to fight through the low fps and decided to take off. I got the autopilot running and my framerate was DIPPING TO 4 FPS! IN THE SKY WITH NO AUTOGEN AND CLOUDS AT THE LOWEST SETTINGS! What the hell's wrong with my game? It seemed that the more systems I started, the lower my framerate got. Is this normal? I have other payware aircraft but noticed no real difference in framerate. I know the CS757 can be a b**** to run, but I didn't know it was this bad! My systems OK: i5 3330 @ 3GHz (3.2 turbo... i think) GT 630 (going to upgrade to a 750 eventually) 1TB HDD 6GB RAM It's kinda hard for me to get the money to upgrade considering i'm only 15. Plus, there are other people with worse PCs than mine that run it at better fps... with REX and other addons. Any ideas? Any help is appreciated :3
