I don't agree it would be outdated.

 

It wouldn't take talented graphics artists long to keep updating the model and textures to today's standards while the coding is ongoing.

LOL -"could have been cancelled" from the guy with the CS banner...The 757 is coming. Unlike cynical and opportunist developers who rush to market with half-finished, half-modelled products (hoping to capitalize on the dearth of 757's in the market), Level-D takes it time to capture the full breadth of the aircraft. Yes, quality takes time.

Guys please remember that they guys/girls that brought you the 767 are all volunteers they do this off there own back in there spare time which means if they got a spare half hour from family like they might jump on the comp and start adding to the 757 as darly has said it's not dead which is good

Yes that's true, however no matter how little time you have for development I fail to see how the 757 project could really take like 7 years... Also I fail to see why devs wouldn't release some development pics to show people that it's still in development.

Until I see some preview picture to prove it's still being developed I can't really believe in it.
