One question,....does it come with a 2D 4:3 panel? I have only seen 2D widescreen size previews. :(

Yes. You have both options in the aircraft selection menu

Wow, Great news. Now all we need is repaints (Southwest, AirTran, etc).I'd love to see the sales numbers on this one... PMDG jumped shipped on this project stating there's no FS9 market so I'd love to see how this thing sales. Why would you want an FSX version of this model when you have the outstanding PMDG project coming out? By the skin of our teeth we get a new 737NG series in FS9 (the timing is perfect) and FSX users want an FSX version, I can't understand this. I wouldn't what to put more on this team with FSX demands unless their already planning this as they would be competing directly with PMDG which is all but profit suicide. I wish these guys all the success in the world for doing this project which would not happen competing directly with a developer like PMDG. FSX has their version now FS9 users have theirs. Now I have to see if this thing is a viable alternative...
Well said, but there's no way I am going to accept this. iFly's already an alternative for the PMDG ones. If I'm going to have to wait with the old 737NG package by PMDG then it's a big NO-NO. Do you even expect iFly to cancel the FSX version and stick with the FS9 version, just like how Tinmouse did so with their 737-200?Dave.

How's the visual model? Did they get the 737 "Nose" correct? The amount of screenshots of the external model seem to be very limited (which is never a good sign to me, lol).

Bought it tonight, flew a few routes, like it! The AP button does work after recalibrating the yoke and turning down sensitivity in the iFly menu; thanks to those who posted that solution. External model looks pretty good, 2D panel is great, VC is reasonable (few blurry textures in spots, but clear where it counts). Great to have an NG in FS9 with wingflex and a VC at last.

This is something I always felt was in the eye of the beholder (unless it's really bad like Perfect Flight's models). I personally feel they got the visual models right with the exception of the BBJ2 and 3. For some reason those models look weird but it just may be me (again eye of the beholder).

HiI read about random CTD while changing SID/STAR or for example, selecting DES NOW in the DES page caused FS9 to crash. Is this true or just isolated behaviour for some users.ThanksEdin

ActiveCamera doesn't work with it.
Comment out the "zorder" entries in the panel.cfg.

It must be isolated because I haven't got a ctd with her yet...

Haven't had a CTD either. And have flown some pretty nasty routes involving a lot of changes enroute etc.

I know I should probably download the manual before asking this question ;-), but I was wondering if anyone could tell me if it's possible to map key strokes ?Thx

Yes

I am wanting to purchase it, but with the few bugs reported, would you say it is still worth the price tag if there were to be no updates for whatever reason??Also do you prefer it to your PMDG 737????/
