They've been literally saying that, from their last statement:

Quote

There are many very important topics being discussed in the community (e.g. New Flight Model/IFR-VFR Flight/Weather Simulation Depth/VR Support, etc.). The team is constantly monitoring the feedback/suggestions being discussed and please know that many of these topics and more, will be covered thoroughly in near future updates.

They are monitoring the discussions. Right now there are no internal forums for those discussions. They are probably reading here, reddit and so forth.

That screenshot has left my mouth frozen in the open position...

They changed the picture on the website from this:

to this:

I understand its nice to have a photography effect n all, but I don't understand why any photographer would want to blur out any part of that beautiful panel.🤔😉😇

That effect is likely not done specifically to take screenshots but is simply a depth of field effect like you see in a lot of other modern games. We saw the same thing in the trailer in several spots in full motion. That's standard fare these days.

Something like that will almost certainly have the option to be disabled if it's not your thing.

Maybe sunlight reflecting off the panels?  The sun beam is in a different position in the new photo.

The modeling and texturing is awesome.  You can see the slight bumps on the "rubberized" panel background and the slight "metalness" of the knobs.  The gauges basically look like a real plane's.  It could almost be a real photo, especially with the lighting and the chromatic aberration (purple fringing on some edges).  It does have just the slightest CG feel to it.

Stunning.

Anyone notice the narrow range of focus..?

Looks great on a photo, but how does that work when looking at the instruments in flight?

The picture is taken from a very oblique angle focused on the middle of the panel, so the nearest parts would be in peripheral vision - just turn your head and look at the left or right frame of your monitor and the other side goes out of focus,

Not to say how the actual sim will look or work of course but as a one-off pic it's correct!

Stunning graphics. We have nothing close in any sim today, so this is looking good!

Well that is good to hear, but as I said it is not their standard practices and policies.. Thanks for the information.
