There's a new mod out that draw trees way out there without the FPS hit you'd expect. flying using it right now. I have a 980ti running on high with LOD of 100 and have trees as far as I can see without any notice of fps loss.

I picked it up today and it certainly works very well.

Besides putting it in the community folder what else do u have to do?

Edit never mind I just reread the instructions apparently all u have to do is put it in the community folder.

I lowered my Tereain LOD setting to 100. Too many trees already.

seems like it may conflict with the tree height mod, I will look into it though.

I think it overrides the tree height mod, but it also has all the same variables so you can manually adjust them. For me it’s only the jungle trees all over Oceania that stand out as needing trimming anyway so that’s. All I changed in this mod.

Definitely worth it for the better tree range.

Does this need lod 100 or 200? 

Guess I'll have to find the settings that adjust the tree height in this mod so I can have both.
