and that one I know has to be reinserted after any update of MSFS

BUT that is the same file as the distance mod uses so maybe they are mutually incompatible

I make my breakfast coffee in my kitchen. I look out my kitchen window, there is the gentlest snow falling, delicate little flakes here and there disappearing in to a light misty morning diffused sunshine. It is pretty.

I go get this mod. I install it. In the sim, I take a fight in the C172 from my airfield a few miles from my RW house. I click on Live Weather. There is the gentlest snow falling, delicate little flakes here and there disappearing in to a light misty morning diffused sunshine. It is also pretty. 

Through the fog there are trees everywhere until they vanish in to the mist.

I think to myself; this sim is definitely getting there. Definitely. Definitely very very good indeed.

I go flying.

100 should be enough. This is what I'm using after installing this mod, and still see plenty of trees everywhere.

At LOD 100, should it prevent trees popping up out of nowhere as you approach? I think I'm doing something wrong.

Ignore that one, is ridiculous to pay for something like this, as community we all work together to find workarounds and fixes, not to sell them and take advantages. Of course with all respect to the creator/

After installing this mod, I notice that the same file (10-asobo_species.xml)  file is now in my Community Folder having been modified by this mod and the winter season-15 mod provided by Bijan a few weeks ago. 

Does anyone know if  this new mod will conflict with the previous winter season-15 mod ? 

DISREGARD : I now see the file from Bijan is NOT the exact same file >>> 10-asobo_biomes.xml

It was at some point.  Even in the alpha the entire LOD of trees and structures was way out.  I can't remember if the loading screen (when you load into a flight) still has the c172 in the mountains...but that was from alpha.

I had to drop down to 125 LOD, but at that I am getting smoothness (30 fps locked) and plenty of trees to the horizon. Tree set to medium inside the sim, but there are still plenty. 

I am using the alternative file:-

Same fix, just smaller tree sizes.

Well done to the author.  It is a really clever fix.

Quick question, reducing trees to medium does that reduce quantity an not the overall visual quality of them? That’s what I had in my head
