For people who are suffering performance Issue after Update3

I think that reinstalling MS 2020, or windows, or buying a New Pc...etc..etc.. is a total waste of time. The update screwed it up, and the people that created the update have to fix it. If they don't, people are going to start going elsewhere for their simming. I would think that newbies to simming, have probably had enough of this BS already, and are doing something else that has much less of a hassle factor.

For me, this is the only update since day 1 that has cause any issues in over 200h of use.  So as for newbies freaking out I doubt it.  It would be insane to buy a new PC, reinstall windows or MSFS.  While they obviously created the problem there were some nice improvements to the TBM which is my default plane.  It's parked until MS/A discovers the cause of the issue and fixes it.  I'll be it something very small but not obvious.  As others have said it was dandy prior to the update, and will be dandi...er at some point going forward.

Surely they must have enough reports....

Guarenteed--they're fully aware and trying to sort thru what caused it undoubtedly.

Did anybody try this workaround?

No, but I've tried this work around and it works great:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t1jOkU57v-Q

The second round after his fix was almost as bad, though perhaps that was the video.  All I've seen is super smooth stutter-free taxi and flight for over 200h now w/ a relative rare hiccough.  This is just a bump in the road dispite the sky is falling sentiment pervasive in this thread.

Does this just fix stutters as the Youtube video title suggests, or does it fix the 10 to 15 FPS issue also?

10-15, that's pretty good. Wail unit you see 5 fps which I got twice today, and it stuck on that until I closed the sim down.

New Zealand seems to be a pretty smooth-running area right now, at least in the JF Arrow.  Maybe because it hasn't had a World Update yet?

Tonight I got 5 fps and massive stuttering at approach, and "bang" CTD before touchdown, I'm fed up with this word not allowed for now, I will put this on the shelf and play some Golf on the computer instead.

Yeah I was having a lot of fun, now I'm going to complain an awful lot until it gets back to how it was..  I was flying every day in a Cessna 152 from South Africa to the UK.  I had made it to central Tanzania and had Kilamanjaro and the Rift Valley to look forward to.  On takeoff from some bush strip near Dodoma at about 15FPS I knew something was seriously up with this latest build.  it also looks far inferior..

I'm trying to just ignore it and carry on with my trip to the UK, but why do they have to take away from the sim?

That sounds like a great flight route. I've been flying around Tanzania a bit myself in the Mooney. Lots of great experiences there. Stunning scenery, at least in many places. We'll be back to enjoying the sim shortly I'm sure.

Guys, stop trying magical fixes. It's up to asobo and I highly doubt you will be able to do anything. You are wasting your time. Chill out. There are other games or things to do.

Nah, it's not a waste of time. You can sit in the car at a stake-out, I'll go kick some doors in and see what I can find. Other games, hah, what other games, FPS game for 40 to 80 year olds?

Most people are having similar issues so no, don't try to fix something that the dev needs to fix, nor do another reinstall.  It's just a blip in the road unless they quit, and I doubt that is the case.

I hope it is Noel. I will leave it be. Have a good weekend.
