Exactly. I am also experiencing low framerates, but I live with it. Currently if I fly it is with friends, so that helps to not notice the issues. Or have a good laugh.

I will spend my time learning Reentry. If you like space and simulations, I highly recommend it.

Omg dude, I should go and finish RDR2.

This caught my eye. I saw the FPS drop for the first time earlier today when searching for John Travolta's place (74FL) in Florida, all my other flights have been in areas that haven't received any World Updates. Just did some quick circling over my "home" airfield (ESMK) - smooth as silk ...

It looks like NZ is the only place where my sim performs as it should.

A little word of warning.

I DL the free Milford sound first flight in NZ with any addons.

Here in red I got the 15-17 FPS no reason why over the sea etc, I can olny think its loading the addon and......after the red area as you know all was well, No more addons for NZ for me.

I doubt that it's the mod. I checked out a few mods and was locked at 30 everywhere.

Then went back to test the KCNI newly released mod and my fps were at 15. The sim is botched.

I'm guessing add-ons just make the problem worse.  I've seen the same issue in areas where I have no scenery installed. 

As far as i my experience using the sim since the UK update those framerate drops happen regardless of location. No area is immune. (At least not for me)

Yesterday, I enjoyed the sim with an average constant 30fps with no stutters.

 

Today, its horrible, even in the same area. My testing area is a flight from KIAH t- KDFW 18R ILS on the 737 or the A330.

Its stop and go every 2 seconds. 

 

Edited to add: I rebooted the PC and now flying in EU, its back to 30fps and no pauses or stutters.

I flew good from EDDF to LOWW and then I bought the new KDCA addon airport, installed it so I had to reload MSFS. guess what..back to Pause and go. Sigh.

 

I notice when the workload is pushed to the CPU I get the pause/stutters. When the word load is pushed to the GPU its fine.

Not sure why and when the MSFS decideds t push the work load to the CPU over the GPU.

Installed it and walked around inside.. lots of people.. non animated. but tons of people inside.

 

Notice the two CPU usage screenshot. The top one is CPU loaded and hence the stutters/ Pause.. the second one the CPU is not stressed much so smoothing flying. No clue when it pushes the work to the CPU instead of the GPU.

It's got nothing to do with this add on. Its the freaking sim.

Nah, they haven't done diddly. I should ask for my money back 

amazing how you all don't actually think they'll do anything to help! I am disgusted how ungrateful this community is actually, when every two weeks or so there is an update ... updates made to intentionally ruin the sim? not on your life! watch the youtube interviews, developer chats why don't you? See for yourself..the 3 man team is fantastic.... very genuine .... but yet still, "everybody" complains..... Now, everybody loves X-plane, yet when XP11 was the "only" sim the last few years, everybody was like "Austin won't fix it, Austin doesn't care" blah blah blah
