July 30, 20214 yr I'm still getting freezing and crashes after the hotfix update.Mind you that i have it right now on my 1TB HDD drive until i can afford another SSD drive later so it does heat up more power to load. But it wasn't crashing before the SU5 update so i don't know what's happening.

If you haven't done the Store update the game just sends you there too get it and closes. I know there are many who can see the performance gains but it’s clear from Twitter and forums generally that SU5 is a mess. no its not clear at all, on forums you usualy find the people with problems, there are many people who dont have issues with the update, i am loving it !!!
July 30, 20214 yr First impressions after two very short flights, one with the Cub over Jacksonville FL, one departure from KMIA with the DC6 Pro : no pop-in, no morphing of autogen, a little gain in FPS Con : overexposed whites (tarmac, runways, clouds) Dominique Simming since 1981 - [email protected] GHz with 16 GB of RAM and a 1080 with 8 GB VRAM running a 27" @ 2560*1440 - Windows 10 - Warthog HOTAS - MFG pedals - MSFS Standard version with Steam

Disagree. Forums are also a place to interact as a community and offer ideas and be positive. The general consensus is that SU5 has been administered poorly.

July 30, 20214 yr Dear all, In my case the patch worked very, very well. Within the context of this patch, everything that was announced worked well. No CTD's, No 20 second freezes, etc. I must add that my Freezes were due to the sim making work too much one of my processor's virtual core (#16). After todays patch..... cool and stable. Also I has CTD's about one every other flight. In thopse cases the memory consumption went to the roof (like a memory leak). I had it in more than one place, with 2 happening on the same place. But day, after the patch. cool, stable and reliable. However....... all of todays tests were naked ( i.e. without MODS). So, i'll start adding back a few here and there to see if it stays reliable. Good job by the MSFS team today and last night. I'm sure more than a few worked alll night and next day ling.... Thanks to the Asobo team and partners, specially the WT folks Now - Remember I said :within the context of the announced fixed of this patch" the list pf other foxes port V5 is still long. I wish the saturated white color of the outside seen from the cockpit side is fixed and left as before. But that wasn't in the announces scope of todays patch. So no complaint from here. July 30, 20214 yr For me the hotfix seems functionally equivalent to what I had yesterday. Nothing seems changed, and i'm still mostly satisfied. We are all connected..... July 30, 20214 yr Complement : definitely a gain in FPS more important than thought and seen with the initial SU5. Flying the Cub over San Francisco with PG on and 200/200. Still smooth.
