I think if you use a LOD of around 4.0, which is I think necessary for my sim, then it's trying to hold a lot more in VRAM by using ultra so it was a stutter fest (2.0 was smooth as silk, but I don't want 2.0)

I have try the lowest setting available with no luck, but as soon my wheels left the ground everything works incredible smooth, even at max ultra, something must have gone wrong when I had the power outage, I reinstall from scratch now, 130 gib... phuu...

Power outage on a update, nightmare.

You could run the command prompt and see if your windows has any corrupted files. It can auto fix them, or try to.

It's super smooth for me, same settings as before except pre caching at ultra. It flies a lot smoother, performance is great so far. Gonna land at KVNY in about 45 minutes, we'll see how smooth the sim is in Socal

Incredibly smooth flying without pop ups in 4k with render scaling at 85, on a 2060 Super, above a city that would normally give me some stuttering at RS=75. I have a hard time believing it.

I have reinstalled the game, but it did not help, I still have a slide show on the ground, no matter what settings I use, in the air everything is superb, even at max ultra, I give up, I do not know what I should do, the game is completely unplayable for me as it is now.

you shouldn't with your PC. did you give some time for azure to load the scenery when you first spawn ? it takes about 30 sec depending on your internet connection

I set it to ultra, everything is wonderful, no need to play with it.

Are most of you on LOD of 2.0 for Terrain? The ones that are saying it's super smooth.

I am, and it is for completely smooth even when panning all the way around on internal and external views.

Yes, but I have only bad performance on the ground, I get about 3-7 fps on the runway when I take off, and as soon my wheels left the ground everything is super smooth, even at max ultra, I have try several airports around the world, even try to start at roads and fields, but it is just the same slide show until I left the ground.

I have even try to disconnect all my USB peripherals and only use keyboard and mouse, but still the same.

I set it back to LOD 2 and render 100% before SU 6 to avoid possible update issues  (I had been running 115% render, LOD3 Buildings and LOD 3.5 terrain) .

LOD2 and Render 100 is super smooth and frame rate does not budge from my 36 FPS cap.  I am running 1440p all ultra.

Set mine on ultra and panning with trackir is way smoother than SU5.  4790K / 32gb ram /GTX 1080ti

Man this WU6 is amazing performance wise! My sim is running on custom ultra settings with LOD 4.5 for object and terrains, pre terrain cache at ultra. Everything is so smooth! This is becoming the flight sim I've been dreaming of!
