I love the Sim, I detest the managers, they need removing, this team needs new blood to take forward.

I'm late on this comment but you realize you'd be back on FSX, P3D, or Xplane (basically cartoon simulators) if it wasn't for this team.  We haven't gotten everything we've wanted yet as things are still being working on but comments this is idiotic when looking at the alternatives we have.  Give things some time but coming at this team when we had efforts like FLIGHT from another development team who's common since was out to lunch escapes me.  Maybe your new or have a short memory...

I'm allowed an opinion, just like you and everyone else on this forum, so please respect that 👍🏽

I've seen enough of this management team to determine they are not good enough in certain areas, that's my opinion.

I tried to go back to the original comment then realized I have him on ignore and it makes so much sense.

Just read your comment and then realized I had done the same!

Firstly, this is the first time I won't be taking part in a Beta, mainly due to lack of time at this moment, but also because there is not enough content in there to interest me enough this time.  If I do get a chance to 'fly', I want to do it in a stable simulator.  I do like the beta test system though - definitely going in the right direction.

Secondly, my view of the team is straight down the middle - they do some great stuff, but some of the quality control issues and regressions have been really poor, and they admit it themselves. They do seem to be getting generally better though, which is good obviously.

Thirdly, I feel quite sad about people who block people on here, and then seem to want to laugh or boast about it.
Although the system is there for people who are a bit fragile to tolerate other peoples views, that way, dragon's lie, and we end up with situations like where we are today around the world.

There are lots of people I disagree with on here, but I would not block a single one of them, ever, because I am grown up and can tolerate other peoples opinions.
If someone has a rant, I just skip over it and let it go.  Even if I disagree with the rant, normally it is just some decent person who cares about the sim just letting off steam due to frustration - I have been there myself.

When blocking out different opinions, you just tend to end up in an echo chamber of similar people and views only - not always healthy, but I understand some people need to feel safe in their comfort zone.  Anyway, that's my opinion!

Funny that they obviously think a lot about snow coverage yet they seem to be unable to realize that the whole snow coverage situation is ridiculous with using only the lowest possible resolution map from meteoblue snow coverage resulting in ridiculous snow coverage situations in some parts of the world,

Gee whiz, coming from P3Dreadful I find snow coverage astoundingly good!  But my cups are always well over 3/4 full and see the forest despite the trees 😉

Great comment, thank you.

While I'd like to see the runway or even taxiway, I have to agree: Coming from P3D I love the snow coverage and find it gives a dynamic, living impression. For the first "revision" it's excellent.

Well, it is not a secret that nowadays some people have little to no standards and can be satisfied easily. For me, I rather have no implementation of a feature than a mediocre bugged one, but then also Simple Traffic and Bredok planes achieve high sale numbers...

Some features require "get it out the door implementation" with refinements coming after. Its not going to be perfect but the proof of concept needs to be fleshed out. Bug fixing and refinements are the next steps. If we were to always go for the perfection before release mantra i think there would be some slim pickings in regards to the feature set.

Its ok to not use a product if it doesnt meet your comfort level or standards (Trust me im probably worse than you when it comes to that) of use but the "rather have no implementation" part of your argument would probably result in lots of developers just not even bothering.

Your opinion is fine but the logic escapes me.  If we had alternative development houses that could pull off what Asobo has done then I'd somewhat concede the print, but when you look at what has been accomplished here overall Jorge and team (Asobo included) did an amazing revolutionary thing.  They are not perfect but FS2020 is the best release of Flight Simulator we ever had. Jorge and Asobo has promised they'd get to VR and other problem areas as time goes on.  Jorge and team are all in this for the love of the hobby and aviation.  This is the type of leadership we always wanted from any developer of an FS platform.  We've discussed this over the last 20+ years of this sim on the forums and now we finally have this team.  Understand reworking the FSX code is no small feat considering how buggy it was.  It's not that long ago that was our only option and you needed way more PC horsepower than it should have to run that beast of a bloated piece of software.  Remembering that and the struggle Lockheed is having with that code with P3d humbles me and appreciative of Asobo and Jorge.  🍺

Given this is managed with shaders, I can't believe a 3PD hasn't come out with a snow-clearing equipment addon yet. Seriously though, that would be pretty neat...
