I'm hoping it comes out not in the Marketplace. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

I would buy it for Miami and L.A.  Hopefully I can disable the Miami downtown area that came with KMIA..

According to their Discord, it's already out on the Marketplace. Which I feel is a bad decision. I bought all (yes) SamScene3d Sceneries for MSFS (and even legacy sims) directly via their storefront to support them (even though distribution of upgrades was a bit awkward).

I would be prepared to buy via ORBX Central in the future, but I will drop out as a customer if future releases will be Marketplace exclusively.

Kind regards, Michael

After dealing with their Bangkok scenery and horrible stutter performance, I'm not really up for buying another SamScene cityscape type of product for now.

Thanks for the reply. For clarification, I did know that it was available on the Marketplace. I was saying the same as you, that I want it to be available elsewhere.

As others have said, though, they're a developer that does sometimes slow the system down, so I definitely want to be able to see what people say about it as well.

Maybe I'm being slow here, but what's the difference between this addon and the 'default' scenery in MSFS? Would have loved to see some before/after shots or similar.

Best regards,

I bought the Vancouver but its also a little hard on performance when i compare to ORBX London, Singapore and Paris.

Maybe its just the area as Toronto performs better

Interesting package. Anyway, since I have the Miami scenery from LatinVFR (includes downtown Miami and KMIA), I would love to see if the Miami city could be disabled from SamScene3D, or install separatedly. The Miami city from LatinVFR looks way better than the SamScene's in the video, in my opinion.

With so many options in cities to do I hate when developers do the same areas.  Leave places like Seattle, Chicago, Miami alone and do areas no other developer has touched with any level of high detail. Cities like Atlanta (they could do a better job than ATDSIM), Orlando, Tampa, Dallas, Minneapolis, and San Diego to name a few would be far better options to do with no conflicts with other scenery.

Far be it from me to put anyone down. I love the idea that more people get the oportunity to fly in near perfect renditions of their homes or areas they are intimately familiar with.

But after doing some extensive low level flying over the U.S. this summer I came to the conclusion that the country is best experienced for it's nature and Geography. The urban areas are a concrete nightmare.

Checkerboard layouts everywhere, architecture that doesn't deserve the name, parking lot after parking lot and residential areas that, because they are all single family homes, take much more space than they reasonably should. I have not seen ONE U.S. City that would draw me to visit for its sights.

They basically all look the same and are all just designed in the same horrible nightmarish way.

So this is for people who live there, and are emotionally attached to it, but for my European eyes, this is not something that I would buy.

I honestly prefer Asobo's default photogrammetry coverage of these major cities.

Not feeling Samscene's colors/tones....

I thought their Vancouver package was pretty well done so hopefully L.A. is frame-friendly. Dealing with the default photogrammetry there doesn't just look bad, it's stutter city. Waiting for some reviews....
