FSReborn Piper M500 releasing on Thursday

I'd also like to hear from the experts (especially IRL Piper M500 or GA pilots) on these.. looks to be very good in all these areas given the reviews so far and also if going by FSR's previous work with the Sting S4.

For starters .......the throttle beta position for smooth controlled taxiing is the best I have ever experienced in my flight simming years. Coupled with the sound of the change in prop pitch ... so accurate!

Absolutely! I've sort of always been in the camp of "I'm fine with an 'OK' sound set, it's not that important", but after flying the FSR500 I must chalk that up to ignorance on my part. The soundscape of that plane is just so immersive, and it's especially noticeable coming from the Blacksquare TBM which uses the default sounds.

I just did a 'load - real time'  for the first time in the FSR500, and I'm blown away by the immersion!   The Range Rover arriving and honking the horn! 😄   It's just fantastic.  I'm still discovering new immersive areas of detail.

This is an absolute landmark addon for MSFS.

They they can be placed out or stowed away 😎   Not sure if they move in flight, if that's what you meant.

Good to know. I call this attention to detail. Thanks

Oh they move🤪 Fly a little rough and see what happens !!

I can make them scatter, I can't see how to stow them?

Bruce, its linked in the EFB in the faq section first topic. Or you will find the link on the official discord in the user2user support section as a pinned topic. Or I can provide you even a direct link 😉

Have fun and cheers T.

Thank you for that.  I did look in the FAQ but couldn't find the link and as Discord is a no go area for me I appreciate having this one.

I had a generator failure in the cruise.  I had to divert.  I was flying downwind when all three screens went blank.  Lucky I had Garmin Pilot running for the airspeed!

Otherwise a great aircraft.

I took this back into the Beta group and the answer from the Real World pilots was as long as you only lose the generator you have to reduce the electrical load by shutting down AC, vents, pitot heat and lights and the Alternator will take over even all three screens. This is simulated in the FSR500 btw. If you lose Generator, Alternator and your bats then you have a serious problem anyway 😉

Cheers T.

Shame it's only glass was hoping for somthing like Carenado's PA46T a nice mix of glass and analog. Obviously though the M500 IRL is all glass. I just find the big square screens kinda boring and makes one plane seem the same as others.

Now another one that's a joy to fly. seem really great aircraft from A2A, BB TBM, and the FSR M500, love the EFB. Now if someone makes a Gulfstream (Licensing?) or similar... done to similar standards as those mentioned, that would be the icing on the cake.

Don't forget the Duke and Turbine Duke comming from BlackSquare soon

I’m not normally a fan of all glass but in this case the simulation of this aircraft is so good it makes me forget about my non-glass preference.

No they do not fly about depending on your flight smoothbess (or otherwise), it's all just magic and illusion...
