I just find the big square screens kinda boring and makes one plane seem the same as others. Wasn't the meridian G1000 and the Malibu was analog? I don't think they did an analog meridian. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
November 5, 20232 yr Can anyone point me to a walk through of entering a flight plan manually in the g1000? I know you can import via simbrief but for simple plans it would be nice to know how to manually enter them. Also how do you toggle the keyboard entry as wel? AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11

I think he means the JetProp Carenado did for FSX/P3D. Had a really nice panel with the G500 PFD/Map combo and a navigator (GNS530 or Flight1 GTN750). Man I wish somebody would "TDS-ify" the G500 TXi or G600 TXi, that would be amazing! Intel i7-10700K @ 4.7 GHz | Nvidia RTX 3070 FE | 32GB DDR4 RAM
November 5, 20232 yr All, we released a Quick reference handbook to accompany the aircraft manual today. It has an updated Normal Checklist as it was clear a lot of users were damaging their starter/generator during engine start. Please use the checklist in the QRH rather than the one in v1.0 of the manual. A revised version of the manual will be uploaded at the same time as an updated version of the aircraft with some hotfixes following initial community feedback and optimisations is released to the Marketplace (this will be soon, but I cant give an exact timescale) .https://fsr500.fsreborn.com/FSR500_QUICK_REFERENCE_HANDBOOK.pdf Brendan (FSReborn beta tester) I have a PC with stuff in it

November 6, 20232 yr 2 flights in it is amazing how simple this plane is to fly. Feels like I am driving a car. SO many thing automated. Amazing work all around. The whole plane is amazing. Congrats I will admit it is hard not have access to my TDS GTNxi.That little gem is perfection I understand why it s not part of M500. I don't even think it comes with the real thing. I also cant see myself flying the M500 without my charts.Navigraph with a yearly subscription is stupid expensive. Tempted to try I monthly and hope I do not get hooked. Means my time in the M500 may end up being limited. :-( Ron Ron MSFS 2024 -Too many airplanes to name. Too many airports to name.
November 6, 20232 yr Q8Pilot's first look and review stream below... quotes from his concluding remarks:- one hell of an add-on in my view - excels in all departments: visuals, features, systems simulation, joyful to hand fly - cannot recommend this add-on enough - lot of realism that goes with it - highly recommend for ga and turboprop needs By all accounts so far we have another landmark GA aircraft to add to the growing list for MSFS, all kudos to simbol (Raul) and team. November 6, 20232 yr Yeah it’s not very often an addon comes along that makes me not want to fly anything else for a while, this is certainly one of those. November 6, 20232 yr Does anyone else's Navigraph charts keep asking for authorisation? sometimes its a couple of time a day. Although this could be a working title issue and not an FSR500 Issue. Edited November 6, 20232 yr by Andayle Dean Farley

November 6, 20232 yr I am surprised someone has not put out a mod to adjust the look of the disk yet. It does not overly bother me but I can see why some do not like the MSFS implementation. This is really a great add on, you can see the care the team has taken in every aspect of its development and presentation. It has great depth and flies quite well. I have it in the hanger until proper backup instruments are added and the fuel cut off is modeled -- on an aircraft of this high fidelity these are important. I understand they are also planning to model the keypad, but that I am less concerned about. Looking forward to eventually flying this a lot -- for now it is back to the TBM850 that I am also really enjoying. MSFS 2024.
