I rather support developers that take their products seriously and not rush products like the trash that is rushed on the Marketplace today with gullible folks buying that word not allowed and complaining after they purchase. Flightbeam strive to be top notch while others not so. Not saying BMworld is awful but I'm not touching it especially at 23$ U.S. They are certainly trying to clean house before FB release their version of KSFO. That is not going to happen. Devs seem to be making a hobby of making a mockery of their dates recently (or forever, so some say). Highlights are my own. Hi there!. Yea I definitely overshot deadlines for SFO. There are many reasons, a few personal, a few surprises.. but I've gotten used to complaints about development time. I've been in business for 14 years now, nothing has really changed. I remember complaints back in 2013 about how long KDEN for FSX was taking. The same folks who complain about how long it's taking, also come back with huge praise about the quality and performance, it goes hand in hand. The big difference is I'm a single dev in this company. It will take time. Unlike some other devs who need to distribute many paychecks.. only one needed here. So those other devs need to pump out many products a year to be sustainable.. and that is totally fine, but my business model as a *single* developer is very different. I can survive on releasing 1 product every 4 years and still do great. (Obviously not going to do that to my customers 😂) With that said.. it seems like some people insinuate that I'm just sitting on the product, not releasing it. That gives me a good chuckle every time. It's SFO developing day in, day out, from morning to evening, week after week, month after month. Nothing is going to change, the Flightbeam brand has been very strong since inception. I focus on immersive, realistic visuals with hand crafted (literally) textures and models. Some folks want something simpler.. and nothing wrong with that! What you'll get from KSFO: Captains Edition is a complete, top to bottom SFO experience, where you'll feel like you're at the actual airport, after having spent many days there absorbing the details as a passenger and developer. I won't comment on the many inaccuracies I see with the other one.. I'll let our customers decide for themselves once released. Speaking of.. we're just entering beta next week. Anyway.. as I put it on our FB Social media.. I think competition is great. This benefits the customers the most.. so I'm not sure why there's so much toxicity and vilification. Like.. yikes.. some of you need to get some sunshine 😆 (no offense)... just remember some of you are arguing over mods in a flight simulator.

Very true! Though I do wonder what with iniBuilds and some mid-tier devs pumping out large hubs in much shorter timeframes limits what airports top-tier developers decide to take on. Perhaps a collaboration between you and Jetstream or Pyreegue or FlyTampa to tackle one of these, as yet unloved hubs of, LFPG, KATL, KDFW, RJTT, EGKK to see if such a collab works? The levels of toxicity have reached new heights these past couple of years. So refreshing to hear YOU call for an end to it, including that which is being heaped on your direct competitor, needlessly I might add. I purchased the BMWorld KSFO and I will buy yours on day one of its release as I have with every product that you have developed. Amazing times for Flight Simulation. We should be celebrating, not bickering! -B

A lot of respect to you for being willing to come here and admit to that when so many others have been choosing to double down and blame their customers for having any sort of expectations instead. Looking forward to your release.

May 25, 20242 yr I like BMW&AmSim airports. Do you have a list of inaccuracies? They are very responsive and fast.

May 26, 20242 yr Suppose that Flightbeam wanted to hand make every airport in MSFS. Well, it looks like there is forty thousand six hundred and ninety-eight of them altogether. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
May 26, 20242 yr I support BMW/AMsim with extreme caution, some of their sceneries are really good (San Diego, Colorado Springs), some of them are mid(Phoenix, Oakland, Miami, Montreal) and some are grossly inaccurate or severely lacking detail (Seattle, Memphis, Daytona Beach and now San Francisco) . But by far...Their Seattle-Tacoma is grossly inaccurate. I sent several e-mails with hi res pictures detailing all the changes they need to make in Seattle and Phoenix. They were receptive about Phoenix and made quite a few changes, but totally blew me off about all the gross inaccuracies of Seattle-Tacoma. I'm hopeful that Drezwecki or someone else is doing Seattle-Tacoma because the BMWAmsim version is so bad. Same with Phoenix, As soon as a hypothetical but never confirmed Flightbeam Phoenix comes out I'll toss the BMWAmsim version in the trash. So definitely waiting for Flightbeam SFO.
