I agree .. not the most easy to get along with. But at the end of the day when i evaluate these streamers the thing i am there for is to learn something. So if he is running a tutorial for something and want more knowledge about the subject matter hes pretty decent at that (In my opinion). I can separate the rudeness part. gather the information that hes giving and move on. Some people can't and that's ok as well. I just prefer the "to the point" presentation of his content most of the time.

Other youtubers who ramble or try to over explain themselves or click buttons with no explanation of what they are actually doing i usually pass on.

  • From Reddit someone used ChatGPT to summarize RSR’s forum post. Then someone else used Claude AI to turn it into Randazzle speak. It’s gold because I can picture Randazzle saying this into a mirror wi

I rarely ever disagree with Eric, he’s just a straight shooter and says it like it is without worrying to hurt feelings.

were these NDA-freed streamers part of the beta testing team?

i refuse to believe the one i'm watching has done more than one flight prior to his stream

They were not. I would of thought they would of looked though everything including the MCDU before streaming. Even done a test flight.

Yeh me too normally. But you have to draw the line somewhere. A bully gets validated every time they act up and still get people watching. I've actually recommended him myself on here but after the pregnant woman comment/put down .. He should have apologised.

To be clear he didn't insult a pregnant woman, he used one as an analogy for software development.

I concur. Some time ago he posted a video of C172 comparison MSFS vs XP12. Mind me to say I own one IRL and instructed in nearly model forever dacedes . However, some statements he did explaining round up and power setting comparing with RL were inacurate. When I made a comment about (which is not big deal)  he got defensive.

So yeah no matter how many type ratings A330 driver collected   local CFI will humble him down during club check out. That how real aviation work, and it apply to me and to anyone else.

I have heard nothing but good things.  I also fly with a brunner FFB yoke, not a sidestick and I am a stickler for things like that LOL.  I could use my Thrustmaster HOTAS as a side stick I guess but have my cockpit set up for a Boeing... https://photos.app.goo.gl/3bzzBHvAjPYq52Qf7

I use the TM HOTAS stick and throttles for everything. To be sure I much prefer Airbus but will fly a Boeing with it just as well. For the price, it’s worth your time for sure.

Funny your CAT3Design tiller. I had one until two days ago. The entire inside broke and I’m pretty light on the touch with it. Plastic inside of it broke. Had it since that chap in Australia started making them when he was out of work with Qantas during Covid. Shame. I can’t justify spending another $400 for another one now.

He's extremely full of himself and gets away with everything. He insulted someone badly on the PMDG forum (screenshot as proof was posted on reddit) and never even apologized, didn't get banned from the PMDG forum or removed their beta team. He has neither class nor shame.

So in case anyone actually wants to talk about the 777 rather than derail another thread into a personality study of A330Driver, it's looking darn good.

LNAV seems really smooth in contrast to the old code. Visuals are excellent both in the cabin and cockpit as well as the exterior. The ACARS simulation like weather uplinks is really cool and there's more to come with the next variants. Can't wait for this.

Yeh I saw that post.. Screenshotted myself actually as you just can't get away with that imo. If you posted his comment here it would get deleted instantly that's how bad it was.

Aside from the simpler weather radar, this could be the best 777 add-on ever developed for a flight simulator.

C*U law has just been demonstrated in the stream I'm watching as well and it appeared to work as it should, not like in the later P3D release where it was a little off. It kept the airplane very stable in turns with no pilot input required as long as speed remains constant.

For those cabin lovers, the IFE shows customized airline backgrounds as a gimmick and the curtains between cabin sections close in cruise.

The sound moving throughout the airplane is very immersive too, especially in how it changes.
