In the north of the UK where I am, there were two internet outages while I was watching tennis online - with the BBC, so switched my terrestrial tv on, and there were broken pictures and audio with that, although hadn't used it for some time, resolved it by resetting things a few times.

Wanted to 'play' on msfs, but having same problems as you lot with xbox, also, avsim's pages aren't loading in properly, although it does have a manky server doesn't it?🤥

I already uninstalled everything and wiped hard drives to send computer to recycling. Going to buy a new computer, install everything, and see if that fixes it.

Hell I really hope I don’t have to reset all of my controls.

They're in the 'Cloud'. Your settings are safe. Trust Microsoft, they're looking after you and everything you hold dear. 🤣

My xBox app on PC now reflects my avatar but stalls on loading.  However I tried starting MSFS again and this time I got in and am running.  I do not see any issues with my profiles, settings, or history.

Why did anyone think their settings would be lost? Azure went down - the datacenter SSDs didn't all explode, haha.

Looks like things are starting to come back online.  Appears to have been a major outage affecting all Microsoft services, as well as several other applications/services presumably using Azure for their backend. Be interested to find out what happened.

MSFS starts now for me but it's asking me to reset all my settings. I'll try again later and hopefully my old settings will be restored.

Fine here in Eastern Canada, came back up 2 hours ago.
