July 15, 20241 yr That's pretty cool. July 15, 20241 yr Great! They just need to tone down the over-saturation of the colours. These trains should be a bit dusty / dirty. Obviously we don't want dirt and dust painted on them, or complex textures, as we want good framerates, so just toning the colours down or fading them slightly would make them look a bit more realistic I think. This is a common issue with some of the city packs and the skyscrapers also. EDIT: Looking at the pictures again, maybe it is just the bright orange containers that stand out too much. I will certainly give it a look when released. It's a shame once again as Asobo are on about bringing their own trains to MSFS2024 at some stage. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. July 15, 20241 yr Not a bad idea.. Even low and slow flying. I don't need Carenado style recreation of trains. Just a general sensory sense of "Oh cool! Look a train!"... And I'm a rail fan who could nitpick a train simulator to death but this is a flight sim and know the boundaries. I'm interested in this. July 15, 20241 yr I'll buy it immediately. I run MSFS2020 and TSW4. And no other games. Both are stellar in VR ! (A lot of the TrainSimWorld 4 stuff in on sale at Steam until the 19th). July 15, 20241 yr Nice if they can get this to work. In not sure the roads, especially on hills, are consistently level enough though, to make this fully convincing… We are all connected..... July 16, 20241 yr Wait until the trains start doing smart about turns when they meet a cross roads. Should be fun. 🤣 The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

Only the people that live in the five houses and visitors ever drive in there. But in the sim, it has bumper to bumper traffic, including semi trucks, that barrel in at full speed, screech to slow speed, and then continue around the circle and accelerate away. Can AI make the trains run on schedule? 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. July 16, 20241 yr It is expected to be released within the next 30 days? That sounds pretty soon to me... I have so many questions, is there a demo video?

Of course it is using some PC resources (mostly CPU which for most of us is already the limiting factor) to drive those trains. When we throw this into the mix with AI air traffic, Global Shipping, GSX, road traffic etc etc, the combined effect is most certainly not insignificant, regardless of the system you have.
