October 8, 20241 yr Not sure why they make us vote on some really basic features that should have been implemented from the beginning. None of these are even related to the product itself but just relate to the interface. I'm not a software developer but with the limited knowledge I have about coding and development none of these should be particularly hard to implement. This product baffles me - the end result in the sim is nothing short of amazing, but the interface looks like it was designed by a 10 year old as their first school IT project and completely misses the mark. It's easily the most user unfriendly interface of any sim product I use.

As they wrote, they plan to implement all of these, but would like to know which to prioritize first. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
October 8, 20241 yr I miss the option "Provide ready-to-go-presets with optimal results like shown in the promo screenshots so that users don't have to spend hours fiddling around with all kinds of parameters".

October 9, 20241 yr It would be very welcome of REX releases an update with fixed raleigh scattering and added numbers to the sliders. After that other GUI related thibgs. As MSFS 2024 will be released next month I really hope it will be this month. But as it is right now I do enjoy it a lot. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

Simply stunning. Very true, but I have just come off a night flight, and the ground lighting looked different to that in the picture. (not the fault of Atmos of course). The lights need to be more point like and intense, and not with those fuzzy circles of light around them. I think Asobo have said they have improved this (night lighting) for MSFS2024 - I really hope so! In any case, Atmos is doing a great job with the rest of the lighting, and I am using the Lupo preset myself. I just hope this can be made to work in MSFS2024, as Asobo say they have changed the lighting in MSFS2024, but I am not too impressed by what I have seen in the recent videos from those at the preview event so far. It looks fairly similar to 2020 to me, but in any case, Atmos would be good to set our own setting to our own taste, as it is obvious we will never all agree what looks perfectly natural - we all have our own opinion on that. Anyway, nobody could disagree that we can get closer to our ideal look with Atmos and the ability to adjust our own settings. Once again, rather than MS/Asobo banning talk of this on their own forums (not going into the 'memory injection thing again'), I think they could take a look at this and embrace it like they did with other things rcently like the ARPC colours and the variable LOD for performance. I am sure some of the MS/Asobo people must be looking at the screenshots and thinking 'Wow!'. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio. With lupo's (and other popular presets), there's not really any need to fiddle around with the sliders. I gave that up after discovering these community presets. SSC clouds + SSC atmos are also great presets. Another alternative is AB MSFS weather settings - but that require some very specific ARBC settings, so it's not the first one I would recommend. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
