You know what is weird, there are two special version of the 747-400 but not the standard pax of cargo variant.

Might that be to allow PMDG provide those models?

  • I am not sure what I am thinking about the FS24. It is a FLIGHT Simulator, we need realistic weather, realistic clouds etc. not elephants on the ground. Sorry

Watched 3 vids from VRPilot, FSElite/Helisimmer & TwoToneMurphy, all very quick over views and all got the excitement levels raised 1000%

But....why does Seb still not understand VR users when we ask for a 2D Image on the Monitor?! Almost 4 years of asking for it and VRPilot had to ask again, it is one of the most basic VR features in any VR title, hope it comes one day in the meantime the other new features will be cool and MSFS24 is certainly shaping up to be something quite special - I better get saving!

I imagine that'll be one of the first Famous Flyers. Working Title was stressing the fact that we'll have 747-400 avionics in the sim, so it's obvious that they want to do something with it.

Did anyone say if we can do multi-legs now without leaving to main menu?

I would really love a video showing a better default ATC. They haven’t show that and I’ve missed it have they?

It's a coming after thing. One of the articles posted here commented on it. With all the new AI traffic, and flight planning stuff they want to wait for all that to settle before tackling ATC.

But yeah I've spent too much on the sim since 2020.  I'll probably go Aviator anyway 😂

Yup. Why not. Good stuff needs to be supported, life is short, and you can't take it with you anyway.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

Patience, it's still 2 months out plenty of time for polish. Also not all footage has stutters, so it could be not all the PCs were identical.

And no, not all the trees look identical. I think you need to look closer.

Yes I was slightly put out by that, it’s not as though the standard 747-400 was exactly an underwhelming, mediocre aircraft.

It would be great to see them figure out a way to implement PCL systems (pilot controlled lighting) and some of these smaller fields. I’ve always thought that would be really cool for a dev to implement.

I really hope there will be improvements to have more cloud type variety depiction, multiple cloud layers eventually in MSFS2024. Thats what I was really hoping for. We spend so much time up in the atmosphere and weather in the sim...

Blu Games doesn't feel the 737 feels as smooth as X-Plane, but he's not a real pilot.

Has anyone seen a Vertical Situation Displays (VSD) on the 737-MAX? I have not seen this in any of the videos or pictures. I'm just trying to gauge the complexity of this default airliner.
