What do you mean "it's been 3 days?"

It's been 4 years! And they seem to have learned NOTHING.

Nobody demanded a new version. It was their unilateral choice to break their promise of indefinite updates to v2020, preferring to release an un-asked for new version for no other reason than $$$.

We are a forgiving bunch: after all, it's just a game. But even so, for one of the world's largest corporations to have released something as half-baked as this is quite a serious matter potentially. In fact I doubt whether it is lawful, though of course it is unlikely that anyone will test the point.

Likesome others, i think you need to take a deep breath and think about your life.

Even though I have seen a lot of praise for the A330. The things he says is questionable. He bases the aircraft off his company and questions why it doesn't do it the way he wants.

I've had a Steam game in my Wishlist for two and a half years, yet I am not deluded enough to expect perfection on release.

I don't think anybody is asking for perfection mate, most of us are just asking for a semi usable experience. If you're getting that, good for you. For the thousands that aren't, I'd refer to the fact that this has been in development for a long time and its release has been an abysmal failure.

Well, his was one of multiple positive opinions of the A330. In any case to call it a "toy" seems like venting and anger at the current overall situation.

I applied the update using Steam and the sim started fine.

I was using a VPN yesterday but I haven't needed to tonight, the sim is behaving perfectly.

Just had a quick flight in the C152 from T004 to Martins Bay Aerodrome in NZ, then had a wander round the 'town'. Great stuff 🙂

Anyone having problems with moved Community folder reverting back to default MSFS 2024 folder, I moved some 3rd party to my new community folder as selected in the settings, but it keeps reading default install folder so not ready my scenery.

YBCG

today's update to version 1.1.9.0 has also replaced the latest DLSS v. 3.8.10.0 that I had installed just today using DLSS swapper, back again to factory default 2.4.12.0

so whoever wants the latest DLSS, you'll have to run DLSS swapper and re-install v 3.8.10.0 again

Half the stuff wrong with it should’ve been more throughly fleshed out in a proper beta and never made it to RTM. But when you realize this is for all intents and purposes the beta and SU1 will be the true RTM, one begins to understand it.

MSFS Addons Linker 2020/2024

https://flightsim.to/file/1572/msfs-addons-linker

Thats what I'm using 2020.exe for MSFS 2020 and 2024.exe for MSFS 2024, the linker isn't the problem, I have my community folder as E:/MSFS2020, and linker reads for both Sims. When i point to this folder in the MSFS 2024 settings (and Save), it defaults to the \Users\username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages next start.

This guy is a known Fake Driver, previously going as 737NGDriver who posts 10-15 videos a week from his home. And is also a well known Pmdg rep / fan-boy who is known to post Biased reviews, especially to Denigrate other 737's such as Zibo Mod or IFly, and eventually conclude that the Pmdg is the winner. Seriously just avoid this simmer, and his fake reviews. They are all compromised.

Can someone please help this aging simmer and explain what and where exactly we're supposed to remove these outdated packages in the community folder 🙏?

You seem to be very extremist in your comments towards Emi. You seem to have never seen his yt videos or either way you have something personal with the guy. Just to enlighten you a bit, he's a former 73 real world pilot and now 330 type rated. Stop bashing people who actually did something with his life and is so kind to share with us simmers his expertise.
