March 13, 20251 yr Commercial Member I have owned this for a while and it works in both simulators - the installer has configuration for both versions. Make sure you budget for a soundpack as the engine sounds are seriously lacking. Having said that, it is a phenomenal aircraft. March 13, 20251 yr Great with the sale but apparently, being located in Norway blocks any purchase from SImmarket "due to tax regulations". Have not had that problem before. But they're sorry - so they have that going for them, which is nice. Hope they stop selling norwegian sceneries to the rest of the world! 😉
March 13, 20251 yr Commercial Member Also it is fully compatible with 'SayIntentions' CPDLC/ACARS and also with 'RealACARS' Clive Joy

March 13, 20251 yr Just installed it in MSFS2024 and i have a big performance improvement. Could be because of the lack of the 16K VC upgrade used in MSFS2020 though. Will try a flight this week with GSX. Is it also loading fuel like in MSFS2020? I find the brightness and contrast in MSFS2024 a bit over done. What is your verdict and respond to this? Also the VC light acts different Otherwise interesting start. Michael Moe Edited March 13, 20251 yr by Michael Moe Michael Moe

March 14, 20251 yr Wow, that's a great soundset. When that comes out, I'll buy the Maddog for sure. How are the landings in 2024? I found there was a lot of float even when I was exactly on the speeds. Felt like it needed a bit more drag on the most extended flaps settings or the ground effect was too strong. Curious about others' experiences on this specifically. AMD 5830X Nvidia RTX 3060 Win 11
March 14, 20251 yr For some reason i cannot explain i never showed them the honour of buying the expansion so its about bloody time Greatest plane of all time in my book. If anyone can guide my to putting the Norwegian SE-RDV to install for the MD-83 its apreciated Is the VC 16K mod to be used with MSFS2024 ? Thanks Michael Moe Michael Moe
March 14, 20251 yr Wow that sound pack will be fantastic. In the meantime, is anyone using the FTsim sound pack in 2024? Even if not officially “compatible”, I would think if the file structure of the Maddog hasn’t changed it should work? March 27, 20251 yr I am SO GLAD I found and purchased this for 2020/2024. I am very happy with the differences when compared to the Boeings and Airbuses I normally fly. A big thank-you to @moosestaffa83 for producing superb tutorial videos I watched to familiarize myself with the aircraft. Most of the YT content makes me gag, so this was wonderful. I am enjoying this aircraft and learning the flows/systems, however, I would like improvement on the sounds and graphics particularly. I did ask on the Leo forum, however, I know Leo is a small operation, and I was hoping that someone here could give me an idea of the paid update and development status. I cannot believe I ignored the MD82 for this long, and am grateful I do so no longer! Ta- C Best- Carl Avari-Cooper
