While I haven't personally posted in this topic (up until now), cause I haven't purchased the aircraft. This is a really disingenuous as if the statements people are discussing are made up.

That's fine, but I don't think it's unreasonable that the community for newcomers and existing members, are made aware of history whether bad or good of any company. If this was a thread on Level-D (or some of the other prestigious devs) talking about only, their great history, I'm sure you wouldn't be inclined to make the same comment. There is nothing wrong with a community that is well-informed about the company and products they are buying. Cause despite FSL excellent rapport with their products, they do have a dark side and you can't pick and choose to be word not allowed about the subject as it is important to other folks.

This goes for any developer.

It may bear mentioning that perhaps the lack of reviews or discussion on the actual aircraft is because not many people feel inclinced to purchase the aircraft but rather posting about why they don't want to. This is a forum at the end of the day and topic is FSL and their new product.

I've seen more people talk about why they won't be buying than those who do buy. There are also those who have just bought it but are still learning the ropes before they can make a fair judgement on the product. There really is a lot to this topic and you may be jumping the gun on what can be spoken about right away and what requires some thought before an apt discussion can be had.

Reviews will come soon with side by side comparisons. Problem is streamer are sometimes tied closely to certain brands and biased the opinion. 
 

As long as reviews are scientifically done with official numbers and clear references they are transparent and valid.

A reviews is, by definition, how someone feels about a product.

Two different reviewers can come to two different conclusions about a product and both can still be entirely valid reviews.

I fail to see „my plane is better than your plane” discussion.

Most of people comment FSL past, price, timing, or fact that if you already own Fenix then there is no much sense to buy another bus.

For my training I have:
FSLabs A320X for P3D ($148.35 USD tax included) and the FlyByWire A320 (Free) for MSFS2020.

I am looking forward to reading reviews of how the FSL A320X P3D version compares to the FSLabs A320 MSFS2020 version.

There are some moderators here who are hugely supportive of FSLabs.   I would hate to think personal bias came in to play when moderating, especially considering the PMDG and RSR bashing on these forums has become an Avsim tradition.  I doubt anyone from FSLabs can force them to remove it but they could certainly ask... 

I've yet to see one of the threads or the comments against PMDG shut down but a post on the backstory of FSLabs gets removed?  Strange... 

Wishing FSL all the best with their release but man, they seem to always be a bit behind the curve.   Released the Concorde for P3D years after people had moved off P3D, probably only sold very few copies and now release their Airbus for 2020 right as 2024 releases and half of the community has moved on to 2024 with 2 other exact same add-ons already released and with a large customer base and support.  It's a head scratcher for me personally but I don't wish anyone ill will so hope for their sake they make it work.

Those events actually did happen. They were unethical. People deserve to know the character of the people or companies they are doing business with. Nobody is making anything up.

If it were my company, I would have folded, started a new company with a new name, put some figurehead CEO in place, and hid the fact that anyone associated with what we did in the past was still working for us.

Yes, I understand that people deserve to know, but Avsim is not a court and without evidence, no accusation is admissible.
And personally, when I see a pack rushing towards prey, I tend to take the side of the prey, especially if it is not there to defend itself.

Yeah, this isn’t rumor.  They did the thing.  0 percent conjecture.

one can believe, I suppose, that installing a piece of malware on customer’s machines that might have capabilities beyond what was intended is a valid anti piracy tactic. 

I don’t.  No fsl for me.  Not now, not ever.  I’d rather roll with the default or fbw even if I didn’t have the fenix.
